Comments Thread For: Andre Ward-Gennady Golovkin Roadblocked Over Weight

What does that have to do with Golovkin lying to the public, and blatantly ducking Andre Ward?
I thought Golovkin was supposed to be different ?
I thought he was supposed to be special ?
Then why cant you call this what it is, a blatant duck that flies in the face of everything that Team Golovin have said for the past 3-4 years?
And, " yet "..... is a massive assumption.
They did not say yet.
And what is Ward supposed to do in the meantime, put his career on hold and wait for those liars?
What you're failing to realize is the position Golovkin is in. He has a unification bout coming up and is mandatory to a much bigger fight, and I'm sure they are anticipating it being against Canelo. So why in the world would they risk all that by moving up a weight class? That would be pretty ****** when the goal of Golovkin, and he's consistently said this for years, is to unify 160. Here he has a chance to do just that and oh by the way make a ton of money in the process (assuming Canelo wins, of course).
Let Golovkin accomplish his goals and then if he wants to move up in weight then the Ward fight will happen.
Until then, Golovkin is "ducking" Ward the same way Ward is "ducking" Kovalev. But if you compare the two different situations, Ward has already cleaned out his division and beat everyone there is to beat and is now just looking for big fights, whereas Golovkin is still attempting to do that at 160. They are in two different spots in their careers. Golovkin should at least be able to unify and/or become lineal champ of his own division. What if people said to Ward "no need to fight Froch, just move up to 175 and fight Dawson!". Because that's essentially what you're doing to Golovkin by demanding he moves up in weight before he even had a chance to unify/become lineal champ of 160. It's hypocritical.

Jesus, look at all the posts in this thread. This fight would be pretty big, it surely would be at the very least a 350-400k PPV fight. If it doesn't happen this year, I guess it won't hurt for both fighters to keep winning and gain more steam and bad blood, and more fans bickering over it to make it a bigger PPV fight. But 800+ replies to a simple weight thread is ridiculous. It's like an rbr discussion.

The Klitschko comment was obviously tongue-in-cheek, and was obviously ridiculous..... so why did you mention him ?
Bradley recently stated that he would fight Klitschko.
Did you believe Bradley, or is it just Ward that is calling out Klitschklo ?
Jeez, is Klitschko Golovkins protector now, I thought that was Kovalevs job ?

Golovkin was happy to fight Froch at 168..... NOW !
Golovkin was happy to fight Chavez at 168.... NOW !
Golovkin has been saying for YEARS that he will fight anyone at 168.
Golovkin did not say " later ", or " when I am ready "..... his entire PR/marketing strategy has been based around the fact that he will fight anyone from 154-168, and that he is "avoided".
It is now obvious that those two factors are horse-shht, because despite stating that he will fight anyone at 168, and despite agreeing to fight Froch/Chavez at 168, Golovkin is NOT happy to fight Ward at 168.
It is what it is.....

The attention is mostly from fans who are laughing at Golovkin.
The bubble has burst.
Nobody is discussing who would win that fight, most appear to be pointing out that Golovkin is not prepared to sack-up and live up to his hype.
Team Golovkin know who would win that fight lol.

Does this also mean a fighter like Mayweather ducked Canelo at 154 then? Mayweather infamously said he likes to fight opponents at their comfortable weight, then proceeds to fight Canelo at 152 (who looked dead whilst he had to sit down on a chair at the weigh in). I'm sure Ward would gladly agree to 164 if GGG had the type of economic leverage that Mayweather enjoys. Hell, Ward mentioned 160 for Mayweather.
I don't really understand the logic here

Keyword = OBVIOUS !
You mentioned Klitschko out of utter desperation.
This is how you look to me.....
* your guy..... promised the world, and delivered nothing
* my guy..... is expected to fight Klitschko, but you dont rate him
One of them is a fake, true, not surprised at all that you cant tell which one.
Still think Pacquiao is on Mayweathers level ?
