i think this is a decent fight not because berto has a chance but because it is going to be entertaining. floyd will show boat a bit before getting him out of there.

at this point it is pretty damn clear no one at 154 or under is beating floyd so why not just have entertaining fight instead.

So? I still say Berto batters him.

        I agree.

People say Floyd just let his hands go more I think he will in this fight. I think he will try and put a show on and maybe try and stop him.

It's just something we do as boxing fans is look out for, and hope for intriguing matchups. There are about 5 welterweights Floyd could pick from in order to make the cut. You already know the names and you know that Berto isn't one of them.

Well what we need to do as boxing fans is demand:

            Khan/Brook
            Thurman/Porter
            Bradley/Ali
            Garcia/Maidana

So that our sport can carry on smoothly after Mayweather and Pacquiao.

I hope Berto knocks his ****ing head off. #InBertoWeTrust

I see flowemoez trying to salvage the cred. of this fight.

"I see this fight could be interesting...."

There is NOTHING that Berto has EVER done in his ENTIRE boxing career, or life for that matter that would suggest this fight would be intruiging or competitive.

With all the complaints about fighting Berto 1 question keeps coming to mind; How much less of a chance does Berto have then Khan? Both have been exposed and both have been given some soft touch fights to build them back up.

IMHO fighting Berto instead of Khan is a lateral move, neither better or worse.

Who are his mandatories at 147, or 154. How about fighting one of them? It's Maywesther he could make a fight with anyone happen because the $$$ > boxing politics.

"He earned a soft touch doe."

At least Khan lets his ****ing hands go. Berto is a stationary punching bag. He only has a punchers chance, and even saying that is a huuuuuuuuge stretch.

This is an atrocious fight on all levels.

I really don't care he's fighting Berto but on paper, it's terrible fight. Terrible.

Hopefully it provides more action and competitiveness then it does on paper.

Josesito Lopez was embarrassing Berto for crying outkoud. Luckily Berto is strong. He does have that one punch power which is his only chance at this fight he literally would have to stun Floyd with one punch and finish him. It's not intriguing at all. As others have suggested

But they can, Khan is already doing it. Make no mistake, Mayweather is coming back. He has already uttered the words "you want to see me go for 50-0, don't you?". He'll blow through his money and come back to the trough, guaranteed.

                      Nah, it's another fake retirement.

I honestly didn't care who he fought as long as it wasn't Khan. And Berto on CBS is a decent present as Mayweather's final fight.
                      You Bradley fans despise Khan

I hope he jumps ship to Top Rank and immediately fights Timbo. That's another fight I want to see.
