If this is his very last fight, then I'm ok with that. Let him put on one last show for his fans and then head off into the sunset.
However, if he plans on fighting again after this fight then it's an absolute joke. What's the point of taking the tune up fight with Berto when you can just get it over with and fight someone better on Showtime? That's assuming this fight doesn't land on Showtime PPV.
He must have made a deal with Showtime to air his 50th i don't see any other reason they'd go along with this.
Because they probably don't want to give him a check for 30 million $ and lose money.
That make sense to you?
Anyone besides GGG won't do well on ppv. The average sports fan is tired of giving Floyd $, heck so are most boxing fans, Floyd knows he needs an exciting win to go back to being a big time ppv seller.
Floyd ain't put on an entertaining fight since Gatti.
Floyd been saying for a while now its either Berto or Mayfield so I really don't understand what the uproar is about...
Berto is just like any other Mayweather opponent, dangerous for about 2-3 rounds and then it's over there's no one left we seen what Thurman and Khan had to offer in their recent outings....
No version of Berto would be dangerous to any version of Mayweather for any length of time.
