The funny part is Berto has been the measuring stick for fighters to get a crack a mayweather, so he deserves his chance since the guys that beat him up, got a crack + Floyd has already broken the record for fighting champions, and pac got away with facing rios and algeiri, why cry now. You guys seem to enjoy watching ggg fight taxi-cab drivers....Whoever they would've announced wouldnt have been good enough, anyway.

I have long given up hope that that fight would ever happen.

For the sake of everyone watching this massacre, I hope Floyd at least pulls off the KO. I honestly think he could, and if the betting line on a KO is good enough, I might even put a little $ on it. Hopefully everyone sells up this feather-fisted angle of Mayweather loudly enough for me to get decent odds.

in floyds world, losing to berto would actually enhance all of the wins he got against guys who beat berto. his resume would actually get stronger with a loss

Floyd would never get credit for beating GGG at 154, remember when he would get credit if he fought Canelo? Canelo couldnt land the miraculous punch everyone was waiting on, people even thought Ortiz would somehow become mentally strong and KO floyd, people thought Pac would be relentless on Floyd and land a KO punch, GGG wouldnt be able to catch Floyd and would get super-tired chasing floyd and getting popped by quick punches while his ass at 154 is trying to realize why his body is not acting the same. BUT THAT IS A good match to come back for on ppv, but Ward is going to ruin that, and beat GGG down. REMEMBER WHEN HE WOULD GET YOUR RESPECT IF HE FOUGHT PAC TOO?...Shane, Cotto, Canelo, and Pacqiaou (or whatever...#48), lol

He must have made a deal with Showtime to air his 50th i don't see any other reason they'd go along with this.

Floyd been saying for a while now its either Berto or Mayfield so I really don't understand what the uproar is about...

Berto is just like any other Mayweather opponent, dangerous for about 2-3 rounds and then it's over there's no one left we seen what Thurman and Khan had to offer in their recent outings....
