Seriously, I agree with Jeff Mayweather. #48 looked really bad in that fight. Reason Maidana did so well in his first fight with Floyd was because he was unorthodoxed. Floyd is a boxing professor and a defensive wizard but even he couldn't defend against wild punches coming over the top of his head. Loved how Floyd found out the hard way you don't hold Maidana's arm because he will beat you with the other till you let go or the ref saves you! In his 2nd fight, Maidana should have not tried to out-box Floyd. It just can't happen.

By the way, I am going to call him #48 until he mans up and tells Floyd he won. Till then he can have this.....

Wow! Take a look at those .gifs! Manny landed a few punches throughout the course of a 12 round fight! Good job, Manny!

Of course, what the .gifs don't show, is the other 95% of the fight, where he did nothing but lose.

I beg to differ, Pac May II would still be a huge money earner bigger than any other fight availalbe. Those Pac fans in denial and the causual/public opinion that Pac was legitimately hurt have plenty of interest. Sure there wont be 4mil+ buys, but at regular prices I bet it still does close to 2mil.

Both disappointing. Mayweather only does just enough to win, but talks/acts like some warrior. He knew he was the bigger/faster/stronger/uninjured man and was still hesitant as hell. I personally felt Pac was going to try to out-box Floyd. Yes it was slower than I expected but it was obvious this was going to be a chess match, not a slug fest.

the other 95% are hugging and running by floyd.. floyd only won rounds 1,3 and 11.. he was outlanded by a small injured man

this is how the judges scored the punches for floyd:

Manny never had a big moment with Floyd; obviously everyone has lost to him but other fighters at least got some highlight reel footage from it. That's all I'm saying. Manny landed some punches that Floyd saw coming and was also able to successfully fade from before they connected.

I haven't seen one gif of Manny hitting Floyd that makes a case for Manny having done any damage in the fight, or causing Floyd any problems.

I've never seen Floyd hug and tie up so much in any fight before. Also, I've never seen anyone be able to counter Floyd so many times before either. For such an easy fight, Floyd let his hands go less than any fight in his career so I'm not sure how "easy" of a fight it was.

Maidana did better against Floyd than Pac did offensively but Pac had Floyd afraid to get hit. All the hugging and stuff ruined the fight imo.
