Floyd should give Pac a rematch because he owes the fans a good fight worth what people paid for. Floyd said he would ko Pac, so maybe Floyd should genuinely try to ko Pac next time.
No need for a rematch, Pacquiao lost clearly and would do again and there's no interest in one. Pacquiao is the one that disappointed, Mayweather did exactly what was expected.

You Pac man fans and casual fans do not understand boxing. The fight would be better if Pac just fights like he fought everyone else. Stop being gun shy and throw punches. Don't worry about the counter. Floyd needs to be him and Manny needs to be him and the mesh of styles will make the fight better. Don't expect Floyd to change just because Manny didn't show up for the bigger fight of his career! That's ******!!'

Maidana faced Mayweather twice in 2014. The first time, last May, resulted in a highly competitive fight which generated a September rematch. Mayweather won both fights by way of twelve round decision.

Pacquiao, who believes he was robbed on the official cards, allowed Mayweather to dictate the pace of their contest from the opening bell. With pace slowed to Mayweather's liking, it was easy for him to box his way to a twelve round decision win.

He did. Maidana had zero respect for Floyd. Pac should have went in with the same mindset.

The fight was lackluster as a result of BOTH fighters being gunshy. Floyd threw the fewest punches he's probably ever thrown in a fight. Pac at least tried to get in and throw combos here and there. Floyd's gameplan was to solely nulify pac's offense while mounting very little offense himself.

The first punch Floyd landed set the tone for the fight. It was exactly what Tyson has said for years-everyone has a plan until they get his.

This gets overlooked (purposely) by Manny's fans and the anti-Floyd crowd.

Sadly what you get from those upset that Manny lost is that Floyd "should've abandoned his plan to push for the KO". It would be nice if they asked Manny to "step on the gas and fight to win."

The injury excuse was lame. and he didn't get robbed, not even close. That said, it also wasn't a whitewash. I had it 115-113, although 116-112, as 2 judges had it is fair. 118-110 is a bit wide, I think.
Yes, maidana did do better. I had their first fight score a draw. but, even though Pac fought the worst possible fight he could've, he did better than Guererro, Alvarez and many others. I don't want to see a rematch- only because the fight was SUCH a letdown, that Im ready to move on. Plus, Pac's age and wear and tear will affect his performance more. Guys that fight like Pac have a shorter prime than Guys that fight like Floyd. The time to make this fight was 2010. Would've been a classic. but, whats done is done, time to move on

I doubt anyone could mistake Barrera having beaten Pac in the first fight as well, yet some think Pac beat Floyd.
So it all points to excuses from Floyd.

So team Mayweather should stop making excuses to avoid giving Pac the rematch he and the public deserves. The fact that Floyd makes a fight boring and clinches and runs isn't a valid reason its a excuse.
And its Floyds fault at the end of the day his fights would be boring so don't lay any blame on Pac. Just give the rematch, turn up in shape on fight night against Pac and no more talking.
A few fanatical ret@rds on an internet forum doesn't constitute "many." The general consensus is that Floyd clearly won a lackluster fight in which both men didn't perform up to expectations.

Would I watch a rematch? Yes. Do I think a rematch could produce a different result? Yes. Both men are fading and either could turn "old" the next time out. Do I need a rematch to "set the record straight" as to who the superior fighter is? Absolutely NOT. Floyd clearly won the fight. And he won it in a way that leads me to believe that if they fought ten times, Floyd would win 8 or 9 of them. Personally, it wouldn't bother me at all to never see either in a boxing ring again.

                      I don't agree Jeff........

Jeff Mayweather is a Pacquiao hater. Remember how he talked all of that **** to a pre-prime Oscar? Then Oscar beat his ass and KO'ed him? Hahahahaha!!!!!!! Anyway, he's one of Floyd's biggest fans. I don't expect him to be honest like Roger or Floyd Sr., who were both as disappointed as the fans were with his performance. Floyd was lackluster on May 2nd. He fought scared and his gameplan was to hold, run, and buy as much time as possible, while doing very little in the process. He talked all that smack for years about Manny but then ran in the fight. How did he show he was a better fighter than Manny? What evidence was there that he outpointed Manny? Manny actually outpointed Floyd. Maidana, Cotto, and whoever else you wanna name, did not. Well, Castillo did as well. What Jeff and these so called fans don't want to admit, is that Manny is a better fighter than Floyd is. He didn't have to fight like an amateur like Maidana. He didn't have to throw 100 punches a round either like most expected. Why? Because he is a great boxer when he wants to be. He is a very smart fighter and his ring IQ is often under-estimated. Just ask Floyd how smart Manny was on may 2nd. Floyd was afraid of being countered and hurt. That's why he ran like he did. FACT. Manny won the fight because he out-landed Floyd. He out-countered Floyd. He landed the harder, cleaner shots against Floyd. And he out-defended Floyd. That's why his performance is better than Maidana's and Cotto's, and Oscar's. Stop hating and tell the truth. If I thought Floyd had won, I would say that but he didn't. He fought like an overated, rich businessman.
