and you are completely missing my point bud, its about who is delivering the punch and the level of opposition.
if that was a mathysese or maidana / etc would mr. one time be getting up??

    (rhetorical question btw )

A good body shot is a good body shot. It doesn't matter what class the fighter is that delivers it.

you must be mental if you believe the class of fighter doesn't matter...imagine this forum if danny garcia had been rocked by body shot from peterson

          yes yes it does.

if micky ward lands a perfect left hook to the body it clearly is having more effect than say if sergio mora lands it...

That was a great shot man. I won't knock Thurman for being hurt from that one. The problem with One Time is he should be past fighting guys like Collazo. He is ready to fight the best at 147 and has been for over a year now

I give Thurman more respect for not even going down, I don't know how he shook that off
Oscar literally should have won an Oscar (pun intended) for that act. No doudt it hurt but he didn't get up on purpose. Bernard and Oscar were in cahoots for the new company golden boy promotions. Oscar was going to retire and Bernard was to be its first "client". Bernard knocked out the golden boy! Great for furture promotions. De la Hoya should be shot dead.

                @antonio exactly.

and how long do we have to wait to find out ? until he's 30 ? how many more bum's is he going to fight while he talk's **** about other champions, it really is boring.

he will be 27 soon, and as we know boxers careers are short for obvious reasons, how godddamn long has he been a prospect? dont get me wrong i like him, and he has skills just...............

                FIGHT SOMEBODY GODDAMNIT.

look at his last 5 opponents:

Collazo (c level and semi retired)
                Guerrero (shot)
Bundu (40 year old euro level)
                Diaz (shot)
Soto karass (shot journeyman who rocked him)

and he's in the mayweather sweepstakes?

Oscar faked being hurt that bad he did not want to continue

that's one way to look at it. i cant say ur wrong.
but another way to look at it is... thurman took a very well timed huge left hook body shot from southpaw fighter and managed to stay on his feet and finish the fight.
thats a lot of heart in my opinion.
u saw his knees buckle and his arms drop, his body wanted him to go down, but his heart kept him up.
not sure why people talk so much **** and hate about thurman. every win and every thing he does, ppl criticize him for not doing more.
