Oscar literally should have won an Oscar (pun intended) for that act. No doudt it hurt but he didn't get up on purpose. Bernard and Oscar were in cahoots for the new company golden boy promotions. Oscar was going to retire and Bernard was to be its first "client". Bernard knocked out the golden boy! Great for furture promotions. De la Hoya should be shot dead.Comment

@antonio exactly.
and how long do we have to wait to find out ? until he's 30 ? how many more bum's is he going to fight while he talk's **** about other champions, it really is boring.
he will be 27 soon, and as we know boxers careers are short for obvious reasons, how godddamn long has he been a prospect? dont get me wrong i like him, and he has skills just...............
FIGHT SOMEBODY GODDAMNIT.
look at his last 5 opponents:
Collazo (c level and semi retired)
Guerrero (shot)
Bundu (40 year old euro level)
Diaz (shot)
Soto karass (shot journeyman who rocked him)
and he's in the mayweather sweepstakes?

that's one way to look at it. i cant say ur wrong.
but another way to look at it is... thurman took a very well timed huge left hook body shot from southpaw fighter and managed to stay on his feet and finish the fight.
thats a lot of heart in my opinion.
u saw his knees buckle and his arms drop, his body wanted him to go down, but his heart kept him up.
not sure why people talk so much **** and hate about thurman. every win and every thing he does, ppl criticize him for not doing more.Comment
