Thurman's power and boxing ability is looking increasingly mediocre as he moves side ways in the division, because Collazo isn't a step up from Guerrero.

Forget the body shot, that's not the issue. More troubling for Keith is the fact that his ring IQ and mental intangibles just aren't there, when a guy decides to walk him down he won't set traps, slip and counter, turn them, clinch or go inside, he just goes full blast into excessive defensive movement, as he moves up the levels he'll be going life and death in the late rounds due to wasted energy. It would have been all well and good if he was in there with Chino, Provo, Brook, Porter level guys but he's doing this vs 40 and 34 year old, middle of pack-light punchers.
Spot on, it's the underwhelming nature of his performance as he was supposed to walk through Collazo. (The one he called over the hill a few months ago)

He fought Chaves. I want to see him fight Maidana too.

I hope so, it will allow him to land a big fight.

I don't see it. The guy chasing and getting punched is more likely to be the one slowing down.

Provo wouldn't get near him honestly, judging by the second Mayweather fight I'm not sure Maidana is the best at closing distance either.

Brook & Porter have the best chance of beating him imo.

Bro that was as flush to the liver shot as you're gonna see. He didn't go down, survived the round. Was recovered by the next round. And then made Collazo RTD the round after that. Come on man.

This is equivalent to saying Floyd can't take it because he got buckled by Corley, Sharmba, Judah, Mosley & Maidana. It's nonsense

Thurman took a perfect liver shot and stayed on his feet.

You can't 'condition' yourself physically for type of punch, so you just eat your pain and tough it out.

He deserves credit, not moronic comments like 'he can't take a punch' etc.

Sometimes I wonder if some people on NSB actually know anything at all about boxing - like its a video game or TV show or something.

          SMH.

I was expecting to come on here and see people giving him credit, instead it's exposed a whole lot of casuals.
