thurman can give it but doesnt seem like he could take it

First off im one of thurman biggest fans here

We already saw thurman get dropped once (flash knockdown it happens)

We also saw him get wobbled when soto karass got him on the chin

Amd last night we almost saw him get dropped and almost stopped by callozo with a bodyshot

All this happen by D,C class fighters....if that was a maidana or porter or anyone with power who hurt him ..idk how thing would of ended

Oh and that whole callzo walked threw his shots is BS
    .
Callazo didnt want to go threw anymore punches and punishment so he could just keep walking threw those shot anymore so thurman power seem to be real

He caught a nasty body blow. Survived. Won. Seems like it can "take it"to me.

We saw Maidana get dropped by Ortiz and completely folded in half by Amir 'Featherduster' Khan, can he not take it either?

      How about Froch vs Taylor/Groves?

being hurt a couple times doesnt really show much of anything. He came back and dominated Collazo and Soto Karass winning both by KO

Thurman goes down from the body shot Maidana took, no doubt about it. It was the perfect body shot but maidana is a tough SOB. He's taken a bullet before so I don't think he cares about anything.

Thats my point, Maidana is tough SOB but he can be hurt.

Thurman being hurt by that body shot doesnt mean he 'cant take it'

Thurman moves way too much for a guy with his type of punch. I like him but he wasn't impressive last night and was very fortunate for that ending, which I still don't understand. People keep saying collazo took a beating in the 7th which I didn't see at all.

I agree, he needs to be more effective with his aggression. For someone with above average power he's always on the backfoot. Maidana and Matthysse always push the tempo and Thurman has the attributes to do that (if his chin is solid).

If he couldn't "Take It" he wouldn't have survived that vicious body shot

He would like Oscar De La Hoya when B-Hop dropped him with a Body Shot and Oscar couldn't get up

I give Thurman more respect for not even going down, I don't know how he shook that off

His durability looks like it might be a check mark against him as opposed for him

comparing luis collazo a semi retired c level fighter to B bop in his prime an ATG multiple world champion is not really a good comparison buddy.
