I have never seen a fighter get a pass more from fans than Ward. Why is this? The guy just fought someone at a catchweight, and haters are mad someone asked him for a catchweight...

Then the haters say Gennady doesn't fight anyone. But yet Ward just fought a tomato can. And his next fight will be against a bum also, but yet he will get another pass. The hate is so transparent.

Gennady is the A side. To argue that is idiotic. Being the A side is about dollars. And I don't mean purse size. HBO gave Ward 2 mil and lost money, that's why he's on BET. ROC most certainly lost money on his last fight also. GGG is racking up new fans and new haters at a Floyd Mayweather pace. He is the new face of boxing. He's one big fight and 24/7 special away from being a superstar.

Negotiations should start at 164, and end around 166-167. This should happen but I doubt Ward takes the fight.

After Stevenson KO'd Dawson, he called out Ward as well. He offered a 2 fight deal with the first fight at 168 in Oakland and a possible rematch at 175 in Montreal. Ward rejected it: "The WBA super middleweight champion (26-0, 14 KOs) says Stevenson wont get a shot until he has won some big fights. Same thing he said about Bute when Bute was hot & offered to fight Ward in Oakland. At the same time Ward was talking up a fight with Chavez Jr saying he would be a tough fight. "If he comes to 168 then I think we should see each other. I think that's a mega, mega fight the fans will want to see."

      **** Andre Ward.

Newly-minted WBC light-heavyweight champ Adonis Stevenson wants a piece of undefeated American Andre Ward, but the feeling isn’t mutual.

it doesn't change the fact that he has been avoided by half of the middleweight division for the last four years and continues to be so, and i don't believe that it's possible to "duck" a fighter in a different division to you. yes that quote turned out to be untrue, but hey, that's boxing

You can't duck a fighter in a different division? So what have the GGG fanboys been accusing Ward, Froch and Floyd of doing?

GGG needs to fight Ward @168 imo.

GGG also needs a new promoter, K2 havent been able to land that big fight.

I also find it funny that people are citing the fact that GGG hasnt moved up in weight as a pro as the reason he has to move up for ward but ward from ams to pro has never moved in weight while GGG has.

Damn, anyone else feel bad for the Glovedturds? This is humble pie at its utmost finest. This is crawl under a rock contradictory at the highest level. This is Southwest Airlines, want to get away on steroids.

This is flat out admission that Ward would kill Glovedturd at 168. At least they're being honest.

Can't say the same for his minions.

... No... Loeffler is as much as a prankster as Floyd Sr. is when he calls GGG at 150...
