Same reason Floyd was willing to fight De La Hoya at 154 but not Canelo...something to do with a fighter willing to give up advantages to make a bigger payday and move up in career? Surprised a FIomo would play ****** about boxing being a business...
LOL @ What's the difference...when you answer your own question above..then get back to us in realty

GGG was 172 against Murray, while Ward was 176 against Smith. And now, "boxing is a business" but it's only a business when it relates to GGG. If any other fighters attempts to do this, they're a fraud right?
you are the one claiming ggg is ducking yet when the fighters you like do the same thing you defend them. it's really mind boggling that you can't see how hypocritical you are being. basically you should either be consistent or don't post if you are just going to defend everything certain fighters do while bashing others for doing the same thing because a bot can just do your job.

Anyone who knows boxing, knows and knew that such a fight would never happen. Ward can make rouge comments like that in that situation all day, because he knew it would never happen. Ward would be TOO big for Mayweather, that fight would have never happened. And yes, I'll repeat, "he wasn't serious".
Of course you guys will try to use that as your defense to justify GGG offering a catchweight in this situation. If you want the "best" you fight the best. Why not offer Froch and Chavez Jr the catchweight? Those two guys will certainly come in a lot heavier than Ward, there careers have shown that. wouldn't it be to GGG's advantage to offer catchweights to the much bigger fighters?
