Uh oh here comes a GGG fanboy. I think 164 is too low but I'll reiterate. Golovkin should be allowed to clean out the middleweight division. If everyone insists on him fighting Ward now, fine but why should he be expected to move up 8 lbs just because he can punch there. I think he'd win a close fight anyway but my point is this, GGG is a middleweight, let him silence the haters and crush the mws who wont fight him. If only supermiddlewieghts will then fine move up. I've never seen so many haters for no good reason. Guys are afraid to fight him and you turn that into he only wants to fight tomato cans. He's no Chavez jr.

168 for Froch and Julio Jr....but 164 for Ward!!

read between the lines!!...they want NOTHING to do with Ward!!....at first it was ANYBODY from 154-168...now it's ANYBODY except for Ward...it's 164 for the BEST fighter in the world above 147 pounds....they went from "NOT ENOUGH MONEY" to "CATCHWEIGHT"....don't need college courses to understand duck sounds....Tom is protecting his investment like ALL business men do....but if you listen CLOSELY you can hear the QUACKING in his voice whenever Ward's name is mentioned....GGG will get credited with a duck but I doubt he's reluctant to match skills and will with Ward...his boss is the one who lacks confidence in GGG when it comes to putting him in with Ward

Did a quick google and I found Tom Leoffler said they'd fight Ward at a catch weight back in March during the Monroe media stuff, which I never heard myself. It was a RadioRaheem video. Looks like Tom has said this stuff before at least twice over the course of several months.

problem is GGG loses all creditability because he has already said he would fight multiple fighters at full 168. It's lame to now switch up and force Ward to 164. Also Ward is struggling to even make 168 his last fight was at 172. This is called asking for straight BS in negotiations to sabotage a fight from happening.
