He seems to be getting better and better every fight imo.
Is Chris Algieri treated unfairly by boxing fans?

Everyone who has trained alongside and sparred Algieri (including the likes of Maidana, Robert Garcia, Mikey Garcia and John Molina Jr) have spoken about how he lives, trains and breathes boxing all year. They speak about him highly and mention he has very good boxing skills and is underrated. However, just because of the fashion in which he lost to the second best fighter of this era, he is talked about as a joke. He beat Provodnikov who may be limited but you have to go through hell to beat. He also schooled Emmanuel Taylor who beat the guy "who gives Floyd his first loss" in Karim Mayfield
and I fancy him to beat guys like Broner and can see him being a top contender.
Even when he lost to Khan, many people say it's Khan being bad rather than Chris being good. John David Jackson also said Chis has good power but never planted his feet. He KO'd 7 sparring partners in camp for Khan and now he isn't traine by a Kickboxer, he is finally out of his cage. War Algieri!
Here he is sparring Maidana:

He actually handles Maidana well tbh

I voted no, but only because he's recently been cut a lot of slack after losing to Khan. I had it 8-4 Khan, but Algieri clearly improved and tried his best. He might put up a really good fight against a top 15 fighter like Broner. He got too much flack for his trainer's comments in what was a crushing loss against a great fighter.
Honestly looking forward to more of him.Comment

Algeri is going to be fine ... He was thrust onto the big stage a little too soon, but the experienced gained will be worthwhile.
Also, Algeri is going to get better and better as he gains more experience. Having fought the Khan-man, he definitely should have learned that he needs to corner runners better and keep his guard up. That stated, being with Jackson will only help in the long run.Comment

That doesn't make it a fact which is how you've presented it. Unless they were some pot washers he found on the street. This thread reeks of trying to hype up Khan but I'll put in my two cents..
Algieri is a good boxer. I don't think anyone has denied that. I thought he performed really well and boxed the piss out of Provodnikov but Ruslan is C-level. He looked completely out of his depth against Pacquiao but almost beat Khan, could have got a draw.
I don't think he was extra special against Khan or that Khan was bad. He just figured out the best way to beat Khan and that Khan didn't have the power to hurt him. Plus Khan always struggles when he isn't the taller, longer fighter.
I would rate him as a B minus fighter.Comment
