Mind you, I'm not declaring that this is 100% what I think is gonna' happen, but it would surprise me less than it would have a few weeks ago.
I would be shock if its GGG

If you want to talk resumes. Outside of Bradley, Keith's resume is on par, at welterweight, with any other fighter in the division that Floyd could/should fight in September. Thinking Guerrero is his best win just shows the lack of knowledge some "fans" have when Robert is like Keith's 3rd or possibly 4th best win. Lets also not forget the way in which he has won. The guy has destroyed everyone he has fought. He gets **** for the Bundu fight while 120ing the guy.

As for his poularity. The guy has'nt hit superstar status, but he does have a good fan base that is growing with every fight. You really think Haymon would have him headline the inaugural PBC event and the ESPN event in his hometown if the guy was'nt a draw? Khan would be the only guy in the welterweight division that might outdraw Keith in a Mayweather PPV at this time and I'm not even certain of that.
So what is his best win?

        Chaves.

I'd say the Guerrero and Bundu wins are pretty much on par.

Also Mayweather is talking about retiring after September so it is now or never to try to make the fight happen, there is no time left for him to "earn" his shot. Furthermore, the guys that Floyd is talking about fighting (i.e. Berto, Mayfield, Khan) absolutely have not done enough to earn a shot at the fight.
So because no one in the top 10 will fight him that means he deserves a shot at the champ of the division?

If this is the case then the emphasis should be on why everybody in the top ten is ducking him not why is the champ ducking a guy who hasnt fought any top 10 fighters

But i will say it again, I have no problem with the fight. If it happens i am definitely gonna watch but keith hasnt done anything to deserve a fight with the divisions champ. Nothing

Well Chaves is ranked #8 by Transnational Boxing and the Ring.

There you have it folks: If you beat the 8th best fighter in your division you deserve a fight with the champ and biggest earner in the sport.

I would throw Zavek in there with Guerrero and Bundu. Its all subjective obviously, but I just get tired of some people confusing name recognition with the actual quality of the opponent.

                Question for the people:

How is Thurman any more worthy of the fight against Mayweather than Shawn Porter?

I'd like to get the answers to this one...thanks.

I see you completely ignore the fact that Keith has been Floyd's mandatory for 2 years. Again I ask the question. Is'nt that the very definition of earning your shot in boxing?

Also. Guerrero was top ten when they fought according to Ring. So he has wins over two top ten welterweights. Also Bundu was ranked in the top ten by all four major sanctioning bodies when they fought.

So is Erislandy Lara. And he's a lot more deserving than Thurman.

Yep, very few people on here actually watch and understand boxing, there's only a handful who genuinely have knowledge of the sport. The rest are ******ed network/promoter fanboys.
