Its crazy to me that the fights GGG's fanb1tches want most are against a former jr lightweight and a former jr welterweight.

Both triple p & cindanelo prefer to face smaller guys since facing someone their own size pose a threat to them. triple pp or whatever his name is is another hype job and you never hear anything about how he would have done if he fought back in the day like they carry on about Floyd. Each one of those guys Kelly named would have schooled this boy especially Winky. Hell Abraham would have probably sent this g boy to the ER and if he tasted Miranda right hand there wouldn't be a need for a stretcher.

He fought a dead man in Martinez and a bum in Geale. I'm sure there's a couple top 20 heavyweights GGG could beat. Does that mean GGG can compete with Wladimir?

And Martinez fought in a bum in Chavez Jr, a fuctioning alcoholic with a staph infection named Pavlik, and lost to Murray. That Hail mary to Williams though, was nice.

I always said Cotto beats Martinez at ANY stage in Martinez's career and the reason was simple: LEVELS.

You don't grow up in Argentina, play soccer til you're 25, take up boxing and beat a bred fighter like Cotto. Not in this lifetime you don't. Martinez beating Cotto at ANY stage in his career would have been an upset to the astute fan.

To me, Martinez was never a natural middleweight. His SHOT just happen to come at middleweight and he took it, and made the most of it. Props to him for that.

As for the "astute" fan stuff, OK. I think a healthy Sergio Martinez can have success doing many of the same things Austin Trout did against Cotto.

Back during Pavlik's time, the middleweight division was pretty loaded with names like Sergio Martinez, Edison Miranda, Jermain Taylor, Arthur Abraham, Winky Wright.

At the moment Golovkin is running out of options due to scheduling issues and political conflicts with certain opponents being contracted exclusively to rival television networks.

No way Cotto beats GGG and he knows it. That is why he is not fighting GGG even though he is the mandatory. Canelo is a better match and GGG would finally get the credit he deserves after laying a beating on Canelo. I think Froch is still considering a match with GGG. GGG would win that one too. Ward hasn't earned the right to fight GGG yet because he had his knees buckled by Smith in the sixth round and Smith is a tomato can. GGG would have destroyed Ward. Lemieux is a hard puncher but GGG hits harder and is much superior technically. Lemieux would go down before ten rounds. They all know this. That is why they are all ducking. Even Mayweather can't be serious because GGG cuts off the ring so well, that even Mayweather's speed wouldn't save him. GGG is the best boxer/puncher to come along in the last 20 years.

ALL logical people understand that if Cotto wants to retain the WBC and lineal MW titles he must defend them against his No1 contender, who is GGG.

You, however, seem unable to comprehend that very simple premise.

What makes Pavlik a moron though is the same thing that makes the people on here agree with him. How in the **** does beating Canelo better for GGG than beating a Cotto? A 4 division champ, future HoF with a much better resume and people are saying he'd get more credit for beating Canelo? Comments like that make it easy to see the people who don't know jack **** about boxing. Canelo is a tougher fight because... he weighs more?

Yes, because it's not like GGG has fought guys bigger than Canelo already or anything... Morons, seriously.
It all Comes down to Cotto vs. Alvarez. The winner of this fight would be a better win for GGG. I dont think Cotto fights GGG though. I see Cotto beating Mr. Red Hair but i doubt he fights GGG.

you sound like a fan boy! Ward hasn't earned the right to fight GGG yet???? so being a Olympic Gold medalist(the last one for the US) cleaning out HIS DIVISION! winning the super 6 makes him not worthy of fighting a 160 pounder who has only faced 2 ex champs???? when ward jumps inside GGG's chest and he has no answers because he has not fought anyone of note that can challenge him, then maybe you will go away, people like you talk too much and say nothing! then you drag a 147 pounder into the equation and say GGG easily beats him because he can cut the ring off???? Beat it with your limited knowledge, get off the bandwagon and watch other fighters do their thing, you might learn something! by the way Smith has fought for the 168 pound strap twice during the time Ward was inactive, so how many tomato cans fight for a title 2x's in 1 year - anyone ca have their knees buckled, what happens when GGG gets his??? who knows because it hasn't happened yet, at least with Ward we know he will still get the job done, remember Bute? didn't fight anyone, avoided the super 6 and the runner up from the super 6(froch) beat him from pillar to post, because he hadn't been in there with an elite fighter sounds similar to GGG, when he gets hurt, can he clinh? hold on ? see you learn these things when you are moving up so when you fight real opposition, its nothing new - questions will be answered soon about your lover - the good boy

EDIT: Heh, this ones in street clothes to be fair. Canelo could be between 5' 8''-5' 9''.
If Canelo flattened down his back combed, bouffant hair he would be the same height as Floyd, maybe even a little shorter.
