So read the George Groves>Andre Ward analogy?
The sign of a beaten man. Reminiscent of that 11th round sight of your hero on his knees after a brutal plastering at the hands of Tony.
Martinez got a gift against Murray - you know it, I know it, everyone knows it.

Nope, and like the other thread I stopped reading here. I simply have no time to hear a guy say Canelo is better than Cotto while saying it's Cotto's fanbase who is delusional. Especially when that same fan has his favorite fighter FIGHTING in the MW division while ****ting on Cotto for fighting MW's lol. That's all it really is you're looking too much into it.So read the George Groves>Andre Ward analogy?

1) Cotto is a much better fighter than Canelo.
2) Cotto can't make 147lbs. anymore. He would struggle to make 154lbs. now.
3) Cotto has trouble with speed + power fighters, or pressure fighters with great chins. Golovkin has everything but the speed.
4) Cotto could beat Golovkin if he fought at 100% and Golovkin had an off night.
5) Should Cotto fight Golovkin? Absolutely not.Comment

In a P4P sense, IMO a primed Cotto was a better fighter than GGG and likely a stylistic nightmare for Gennady, in a weight indifferent world. GGG can't fight on the inside. And Cotto's non-stop, stalking, body attack would break him down. Problem is, that Cotto was a jr welterweight (he did it some as a welterweight). A jr welterweight with chin issues.1) Cotto is a much better fighter than Canelo.

Cotto was never "THE MAN" at 140..Hatton was..Cotto was never" THE MAN" at 147 Floyd was..Cotto has NEVER dominated a division..sure he has fought the best and that can not be denied..BUT HE WAS NEVER THE MAN!!!Canelo's spent the majority of his career at 147 also, what the ****?
How can Canelo be the legitimate 154 champion when the only belt he won at 154 was the "b*tch" version of the WBC belt? Floyd had the real WBC belt and Trout had the "normal" one which he won with open scoring in Texas. That's not legitimate in anyway lmfao. Cotto was the man at 140, the man at 147, the man at 154 and the man 160. Canelo has only been the man at 155.
GGG beating Canelo is like beating himself. A guy with 1 or 2 good wins and a whole bunch of hype. The difference is GGG hasn't struggled with anyone and Canelo struggles against any who even remotely boxes. But, feel free to fall into the hype train again it'll make that much better when it derails again.Comment

Cotto's the man in any division but Hatton knew to stay away, him and his team. At 147 you could say Floyd but he retired after Hatton. That made Cotto the man, at least until he was cheated out of it by Marg. And at 154, he was THE MAN when Floyd fought him there. Who was better? WW was his weakest reign because Floyd was in it most of the time.Comment

HAHAhahahahahahahahahaha
are you fkn serious with this shít?
"non-stop, stalking body attack"?
gtfo with that nonsense. GGG vs Cotto at ANY weight, both in their primes, and we'll see who stalks who around the ring.
