How could you, he had over 230 fights, he Would fight consecutive weeks sometimes.

Saddler was way bigger and way stronger than pep, and after saddler destroyed him, he said said let's do it again and out boxed him.

There's slight similarities between there style at best, but not there careers.
    And?

Pep still didn't move up to fight Saddler like you incorrectly claimed.

Your correct, he pretty much always fought undersized.

Saddler was massive though, when guys like Paul Williams and margarita were in Floyds weight class, he said no thanks, time to retire.

        No, not really. Incorrect again.

How many lbs did Pep move up in weight compared to Mayweather?

Quit while you're behind clearly you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

I also truly doubt Larry was digging for this... Pep, historically was known for winning a round of boxing without throwing a punch. Which brings up the concept of fundamentals, judging and today's lack of knowledge. One of the main focus points in boxing is "Hit but don't get Hit"... Something Pep was amazing at, exactly why he was considered to be so great and yet rarely spoken of. This has to do with today's lack of knowledge of the history of the sport and the lack of knowing the sport. Every sport has idiotic critics with no knowledge of the sport (never competeing, never studying the history) and the Internet has allowed every individual the voice to spew hate or criticism... Ironically it also gave those individuals the access to the history, and videos which you may have never of saw.
Oh how convenient... you know what the difference is?

          CLINCHING

that's the difference. Clinching ruins boxing. And Mayweather is the man doing it and getting away with it. Along with Ward, Klisthcko, etc...

I didn't see WP in that video clinching.

To answer the question; Yes, Pep would without question be considered a "runner" today.

He fought on the move a lot more than Mayweather ever has.

Wtf are talking about???? Floyd is always outweighed by several pounds on fight night. They did same day weigh ins back then.

Maybe because you're watching a highlight video.

Go and actually watch Willie Pep's fights and see if he clinches.

Bare in mind we are talking about a fighter who fought through the 1940's.
