No ****ing way.... Holy **** this would be something else. Mayweather obviously still gonna be the favorite but it's a dangerous fight for him to take on. I've always been in the camp that feels he doesn't have to take this fight but nonetheless would like to see it. Mad props if he really gets in the ring with GGG.
Floyd golovkin in Sept. at 154

Not me bro, shoulder made no difference as far as I'm concerned. The focus is on poster response. Posters can't be bothered talking about Lara because of the things I mentioned. I get that.
But bring up Floyd, and those things suddenly do not matter.
I hope Floyd closes out the showtime deal in Sept. then returns to HBO in May for the GGG fight.
Floyd by UD. Do you know if GGG's shoulders are ok?
I don't think HBO can afford Floyd, if it ever happens, it's a Showtime or PBC fight imo.Comment

Oh man, this like a cruel tease... But what are you saying at the bottom, that GGG has to REMAIN at 154 on fight night? That sounds insane.Boxing sources close to me have confirmed a @FloydMayweather vs @GGGBoxing fight is in early negotiations

I don't like it. It's one thing for Golovkin to drop down to 154, but the rehydration clause is a whole other issue. There's very few current JMW's who could make 154 the day of the fight.Comment

I'm sure he is stronger at 160, but I don't think he'll be a corpse at 154. Hopkins is naturally bigger and he was able to drop down to 156 and perform vs Oscar. Common thread is both guys highly professional and disciplined, don't blow up between fights. All bets are off if there's a rehydration clause, but that's be a disgrace as Floyd is lineal, unified, 2x and reigning SWW champ"If you're a 154-pound champion, then you should be ready, willing and able to fight anyone who can make the 154-pound limit."
I agree with this part even though I don't really consider Floyd a junior middleweight champion because he hasn't fought at the full divisional limit since Cotto...in 2012.
You think Golovkin can make 154 without weakening his body?Comment

holy ****ing ****, if this fight happens. I'm gonna freak and flip out.
Golovkin vs May is a dream fight.
It's either Golovkin KO's May, or May wins UD
Thing is, Golovkin is good at cutting the ring.. Floyd might be in a bit of trouble especially since GGG is taller and much stronger than that hype pac-tardComment

I love GGG. But hasn't this board been bashing GGG lately? Saying he's overrated, hasn't fought anybody, yada yada yada?Comment

Where does it say 154 fight night? No way, that's be outrageous. There's LWs 154 fight night, many LWWs are heavierBoxing sources close to me have confirmed a @FloydMayweather vs @GGGBoxing fight is in early negotiations

Yeah, any funny business to stack the deck is a turn off for me bro. If he comes down to 154 and makes the limit on the Friday before the fight, then there should be no issues. But there will be. Because it's Floyd.Comment
