Whose tweet is this one you have cited?Boxing sources close to me have confirmed a @FloydMayweather vs @GGGBoxing fight is in early negotiations

I don't like it. It's one thing for Golovkin to drop down to 154, but the rehydration clause is a whole other issue. There's very few current JMW's who could make 154 the day of the fight.
Sr. said (last week) that GGG would have to comply with a drakonic rehydration clause... It was Sr, not Floyd...Comment

But 154 rehydration?! That probably can't be cleared on medical groundsThat was thrown out by Mayweather Sr. I don't know how much to believe all this talk, but I do seriously hope Golovkin is not training to lose muscle right now. I remember Paul Williams played that very game and it lead to him getting KO'd by Martinez. Golovkin could end up messing up his body and losing to someone like N'Dam in September.
Tom Loeffler hasn't come out and clearly addressed the Mayweather negotiation rumor or even the Golovkin training to cut down weight. The boat tweet came out before the Golovkin cutting weight story.
dont believe this at all https://t.co/EcXvo2hiks

PWill imposed a CW on Martinez, he wasn't dragged down. I get what you're saying, 154 friday is fine but no silly rehydration clauseComment

I'm praying for no rehydration clause if this fight happens. Heck I'd rather a catchweight than rehydration clause.Comment

I would like to see Golovkin try to make 154 regardless of Floyd.
He's not getting a good opponent at 160 next so let's see if he can make 154. If he can make weight and is effective there it could open a lot of doors.
Golovkin v Clottey at 154, optional rematch clause for Golovkin at 160.Comment
