PBC should have had their own belts from the very first card...

These first few cards should have been 4 man tournaments for each division...

As soon as you crown champs, you use the tournament to crown #1 contenders..
This allows the audience to get familiar with boxers, and grow the brand..
Bellator used this format and it worked perfectly for them..

They are trying too hard to be different, when all they need to do is put together interesting matchups. Fans of the sport are not ******, and they know there is boxing outside of the PBC. The PBC needs to understand that and not go around calling Danny Jacobs the Middleweight Champ of the world.

They need to stop treating themselves like they are a self contained bubble. This sport is wide open and world wide, Al and his crew need to accept it and just concentrate on quality matchups. It is not rocket science.

Haymon is fast becoming a monopoly over there, and you can't blame the fighters because the $$$$$ is right.
        This ^^^

I love having this much boxing on media that I already pay for. How can I not? But it's really a shame the boxing movers and shakers can't get it together to make more of the good fights.

Not like they wouldn't get paid out of it.

What don't I like about Pbc? Not sure I'm really excited about the ratio of showcases to contests. I miss the traditional ring walks. Need moar Ring Card Girlz!!1!1!!

To me the answer is obvious. The matchmaking has been very poor overall. Their two big fights this summer are pretty much a joke. Thurman should be in a big fight. The Collazo fight is a disaster. Garcia against Malignaggi is another joke of a fight.

Even Mares/Santa Cruz is two years too late. I have just always been skeptical about Haymon's fighters fighting eachother.

We are only halfway through the year and we've already gotten some really solid matchups such as Garcia/Peterson, Broner/Porter, Thurman, Guerrero etc...you guys just love to hate because its Al Hamon, HBO can give you GGG vs some bum or Bradley vs fckin jesse vergas and you guys wont say anthing lol, the bias is so strong.
Broner/Porter had that ridiculous post weigh in clause and it was an average fight at best. The other two fights you mentioned were good matches although I have never held Guerrero in high regard. He is extremely overrated.

Garcia and Thurman are in joke fights now so what does it matter? HBO worst fights from 07-12 usually had to do with Al Haymon. They are now dealing with a limited pool to choose from and they are still doing great while Showtime has all but disappeared associating with Haymon.

The only thing I can see is consistency. Successful boxing shows generally appear at a scheduled time and night and viewers know when it is on. The PBC is sporadic. Rarely on at the same time or on the same night. As a fan I love what they have done and like most fans never miss a card but I believe new fans and viewers need that consistency to become regular viewers.

I want it to work. I just don't like the idea of Haymon trying to make a monopoly of a sport where it is impossible. The Golden Boy/TR rivalry was bad enough. Now we have Kovalev, Golovkin, Rigo, Bradley, Crawford. Some of the best at their weight who will never fight PBC fighters.

Not to mention guys like Cotto, Donaire, Canelo, Ward, Rios, Matthysse..

                      It's not bad.

People are over exaggerating about the matchmaking.

Canelo just fought a guy coming from a year layoff, while GGG just fought an ESPN fighter. Let's not forget the champion Nicholas Walters missed weight for his fight a few weeks ago.

Some people have been fed HBO's product for so long that any other change is automatically a bad thing. Let PBC do things their way.

Plus, being an Al Haymon owned brand probably shined a negative light on it before it even premiered. Because anything Al Haymon = bad to most boxing fans.
