If you look at his opponents objectively, then you really don't have a lot of fodder for criticism. Let's take a quick look:

Monroe Jr. - solid up-and-coming southpaw MW contender - was the best available opponent at the time.

Murray - tough as nails contender who rightfully earned his title shot by beating good opposition; lost a questionable decision against WBC champ Sergio Martinez.

Geale - Former IBF MW titlist; has fought and beat top ranked opponents for the last 4 years

    Also, Stevens, Rosado, Proksa, Rubio

Sure, these guys aren't world beaters but they are all top ranked contenders and the best available opponents to Gennady. Is it his fault that the big name fighters of his division don't want anything to do with him?
Stopped taking your post seriously at this point. Willie Jr the best available opponent?

Lara, for example, was available. Tom Loeffler said he could make that fight happen directly after the Murray win and what did he do?

Went to HBO with the names of 3 cans.

That's when I realised that Team GGG was full of **** or as you put it "my irrational hatred".

You sound like just another Gullible Gennady Groupie. When you're 33 years old and your best win is Martin bloody Murray, than you're resume is ****. Full stop.

I'm expecting them to announce the next jobber soon and you'll probably defend that too because "no one else would fight him doe!".

Age is irrelevant here. Golovkin started his pro career late so it's not a factor. How can you completely discredit/disregard all his other wins against top ranked contenders? Proska, Rosado, Geale, Macklin, Rubio are all good opponents, stop pretending otherwise.

I would like to see him against Erislandy Lara. It would be a very difficult match for Golovkin.

Not they're not. They're absolutely awful opponents for a supposed P4P level fighter.

You're really going out of your way to denounce solid contenders. I was curious so I went through the WBA ratings for the fighters you guys are talking about as of the end of the month immediately prior to their fights with GGG and found...

            Willie Monroe Jr #2

            Murray #5

            Rubio #5

            Geale #3

            Macklin #11

            Rosado #15

            Proska #8

Of those I'm willing to defend Geale, Murray, Proska and Willie Monroe Jr as reasonable opponents not worthy of the "dishwasher" rep you are trying so desperately to give them. Yeah sure those guys aren't exactly p4p, but it seems odd that GGG is eating so much flack after stopping two of the top 5 guys (excl. belt holders) in the division in his two most recent fights.

No, BostonGuy, they are not. They are equivalent to the WW version of Andre Berto... if that.

Would like to see him KO Lara, I really don't care for rating as most of his opponents would instantly get ranked high as soon as they are about to fight GGG anyways, but beating Lara with his awkward style would give GGG a lot of credit for that win.
