I don't *** around with all that ratings nonsense. They just make up the rules as they go along. I judge fighters by what they look like in the ring.
Frankie Gavin was rated 3 by the IBF or something. He was still a horrible opponent for Brook.

Ppl have this weird perception of Golovkin's resume and opposition. I mean there actually those who think it's good? There's no way. Decent at best. Not one truly elite fighter among the bunch and some of them are downright horrendous.

I'm a fan of Rosado
But people using his name as justification of GGG solid resume are reaching and just straight up bullsh.itting
Rosado hasn't won a fight in almost 3 years in that time he's lost what 5 straight ( BKB doesn't count ) his best wins are Ouma & Soto Karass. He isn't a good name to hav on the CV.

Lara, for example, was available. Tom Loeffler said he could make that fight happen directly after the Murray win and what did he do?
Went to HBO with the names of 3 cans.
That's when I realised that Team GGG was full of **** or as you put it "my irrational hatred".
You sound like just another Gullible Gennady Groupie. When you're 33 years old and your best win is Martin bloody Murray, than you're resume is ****. Full stop.
I'm expecting them to announce the next jobber soon and you'll probably defend that too because "no one else would fight him doe!".
You already know Lara wasn't going to fight Golovkin on HBO back in May. That was never the plan for his career. He had lost to Canelo, they matched him up against Ishe Smith which 16 people watched and then they wanted an easy touch for him (Delvin Rodriguez). Lara fighting GGG on HBO in May was never in the cards for Lara, or else they wouldn't have actually tried to fight Golovkin which they didn't. At that time Lara was even saying in interviews he had no intention of fighting at 160 (he's changed his tune recently however).
So again, the guys available to GGG for May were Heiland, Johnson and Monroe. Lemieux vs Ndam, Quillin vs Lee, Cotto vs Geale, Froch vs vacation, Chavez vs Fonfara, Ward vs Smith, Canelo vs Kirkland were all set. Golovkin wanted unification or a big fights, but they weren't there. We all knew the May fight was going to be a step down from Murray just based on the landscape of boxing at the time (everyone had matches lined up already and guys like Cotto & Froch weren't interested).Last edited by ИATAS; 07-09-2015, 05:18 PM.

Willie Monroe Jr #2
Murray #5
Rubio #5
Geale #3
Macklin #11
Rosado #15
Proska #8

Of those I'm willing to defend Geale, Murray, Proska and Willie Monroe Jr as reasonable opponents not worthy of the "dishwasher" rep you are trying so desperately to give them. Yeah sure those guys aren't exactly p4p, but it seems odd that GGG is eating so much flack after stopping two of the top 5 guys (excl. belt holders) in the division in his two most recent fights.Originally posted by Dirk Diggler UK View PostThe WBA ratings
You can use The Ring ratings if you want. Proksa, Murray, Geale, Rubio and Stevens were all ranked top 10 by the Ring at the time GGG fought them. The point is he's fought top 10 guys fairly consistently and really has fought the best middleweights available to him. He's certainly not ducking guys like Quillin, Lemieux, N'dam, Cotto and Andy Lee, who are, by ranking, the remaining best middleweights.Last edited by ИATAS; 07-09-2015, 05:19 PM.

How did "I know" Lara wasn't going to fight him in May? Tom Loeffler said he would try and make it happen but he didn't bother.
Oh yeah, what was the excuse you used? "Tom is a little goofy in his interviews" or something? Making pathetic excuses for a grown man's statementsLast edited by Dirk Diggler UK; 07-09-2015, 05:58 PM.
