I agree they aren't fighting Floyd in his prime...but what's his prime? His prime wasn't when he got a gift against Castillo? It wasn't against De La Hoya was it? Tbh, Floyd seems better to me since the Marquez fight than he did before that...

Castillo wasn't a gift. Round by round punch stats show that there were more rounds in which Floyd outlanded Castillo than there were rounds in which Castillo outlanded Floyd. But haters naturally will always show you only the total punch stats and make a rabid case on that despite the fact that everyone knows that boxing matches are scored by rounds.

Plus, many of the punches that Castillo landed were landed on the clinch, there were times that he was running around the whole ring with his left arm around Floyd's waist and the ref aint do nutn bwt that. Manny of those clinch punches were also landed after the bell or after the ref had already called a break, in other words, illegal punches.

Castillo clearly lost that fight, the judges saw the truth and not the illusion of it, hence the wide scorecards in Floyd's favour.

The rematch is absolute proof of this of Floyd's superiority to Castillo.

Of course it's something...Floyd hasn't been the underdog in a fight since Diego...

The one time he was going to be even money was Pacquiao over 5 years ago... and we know what happened there...

Pacquiao went into the Barrera fight a huge underdog... went into the DeLa Hoya fight a legit underdog... shiiit even Margarito..the odds were only slightly in Pac's favor...

Mayweather fight Triple G..he'd be the favorite but it'd be a slight one...

Mayweather didn't fight Winky Wright back when he flirted with..would have actually been a very interesting betting line... I think many would think Winky was too big..etc...

Floyd didn't move up to MW to fight Sergio..

And don't give me this Floyd walks around at 150 and he can really make 140 BS... he couldn't even make 144 against Marquez..so obviously he can't make 140...

Same to you! He can't even make the junior middleweight limit (154) as his highest fight night weight in that division is 150.5/151, so how the **** he supposed to fight at middleweight?

I like how people try to downplay the different qualities that African Americans bring to the table.

It's not racist to say African Americans are the most athletic race, overall.

Find me any non-African American athlete with the athleticism of Roy Jones, Deion Sanders, Floyd Mayweather or LeBron James.

While there may be something to the whole selective breeding of the strongest ****** making African Americans better athletes, I don't think that's the whole picture. Poverty may be the largest factor. Schools in black neighborhoods generally are much worse than schools in white neighborhoods. This disparity pushes more blacks to seek success through athletic endeavors instead of academic ones. While a white kid in the suburbs might dream of being a lawyer, many black kids dream of being pro athletes. This is because it's one of the only ways a poor black kid can make it. So of course more black kids are going to be serious about athletics.

That is partially true. I agree with you.

However, most whites seem to get butthurt when this same information is presented in a different way.

Example: African Americans DOMINATE American sports.
