Bonds? Jeter?
QBs and baseball players can play at a very high level up to 40...and golfers obviously can...

Boxers definitely fade around 35... I think Floyd was his best from the Marquez to the Canelo fight... I saw some slippage in the Maidana fight... So Floyd I think was still prime around 35ish... But he's clearly past his prime now... so a loss to me at this point wouldn't affect his legacy at all...

B-Hop wasn't in his prime in his late 30s and 40s...he was just still good enough to win...

Floyd does avoid prime black fighters. Today he does. But it's not because of fear. He fought Judah, Shane, and a host of black fighters before he truly attained superstar status. But he realized that he can generate more PPV buys, and make ton more money fighting Latino opponents, and being "the villain" of that rabid fanbase. It's strictly about money, and if he could generate the same revenue with a black opponent, he's definitely do it.

Oh and Marquez... I will go my grave believing that he was roids/PEDs against Pacquiao in the 4th fight possibly even the 3rd...

But on another note, the thing Floyd is missing is that one great accomplishment against all odds...

Pacquiao had it with De La Hoya and even with Cotto to a certain degree...

If Floyd would have moved up to 160 and beat B-Hop (what Trinidad and De La Hoya couldn't do) not saying he ducked B-Hop but... I think everyone would be saying he really was TBE... the only outlandish thing he can do now is beat Triple G or Ward... If Ward can make 160 or Triple G at 154-155...

Of course it's something...Floyd hasn't been the underdog in a fight since Diego...

The one time he was going to be even money was Pacquiao over 5 years ago... and we know what happened there...

Pacquiao went into the Barrera fight a huge underdog... went into the DeLa Hoya fight a legit underdog... shiiit even Margarito..the odds were only slightly in Pac's favor...

Mayweather fight Triple G..he'd be the favorite but it'd be a slight one...

Mayweather didn't fight Winky Wright back when he flirted with..would have actually been a very interesting betting line... I think many would think Winky was too big..etc...

Floyd didn't move up to MW to fight Sergio..

And don't give me this Floyd walks around at 150 and he can really make 140 BS... he couldn't even make 144 against Marquez..so obviously he can't make 140...

There is nothing Floyd can do that can make him TBE. The fight game is just not the same since MLB, the NBA and the NFL integrated Blacks (including Latinos) in their sports! He'll probably be considered Top 10, and he should be cool with that. Why? Because he changed the game. No fighter has dismissed the promoter/boxer relationship, and dominated the fight game like Floyd. Oscar paved the way, but Floyd has surpassed "The Golden Boy" by leaps and bounds, starting with defeating "The Golden Boy" @ 154. That being said, I really would like to see Floyd challenge GGG at 154. If he were to win, he still wouldn't be TBE, but it would be the best way to retire.

But they weren't coming off losses. The dudes I listed were in prime position but blew their chance.

Floyd should man up and fight Lara instead of whatever cherry pick he has planned... How has Floyd not announced his opponent yet... is this a strategy to make sure his opponent has as little time as possible to train

Black? WTF are you talking about idiot. I was commenting on you claiming all of Floyds wins were payoff and the other butthurt garbage you spew. You've spent years here telling anyone who would listen about how Pac would beat Floyd, when he didn't you were pretty humble at first, now you're back to this payoff crap
