    THIS!!!

You've been around the sport for awhile to know some of the info you talked about.

I remember when Oscar and Shane refused to fight Floyd. Floyd then called out Winky who at the time was at 154 and I believe Floyd was campaigning at 140.

The only African American fighter I can think of Floyd maybe sidestepping would have been Vernon Forrest. Uncle Rog was very high on Forrest and for a small time, Forrest was the man at 147.

        Absolutely

Lara would present an excellent challenge for Mayweather.

He's deserved it since he beat Canelo.

        He beat Paul Williams too.

Pacquiao went into the Barrera fight a huge underdog... went into the DeLa Hoya fight a legit underdog... shiiit even Margarito..the odds were only slightly in Pac's favor...

Mayweather fight Triple G..he'd be the favorite but it'd be a slight one...

Mayweather didn't fight Winky Wright back when he flirted with..would have actually been a very interesting betting line... I think many would think Winky was too big..etc...

Floyd didn't move up to MW to fight Sergio..

And don't give me this Floyd walks around at 150 and he can really make 140 BS... he couldn't even make 144 against Marquez..so obviously he can't make 140...
Floyd not being an underdog since 2001 is a testament to the man's high skill level.

Roy Jones was never an underdog in his prime either.

When is the last time Jon Jones or Ronda Rousey were underdogs?

Elite fighters like Floyd are rarely underdogs. Don't blame him. Blame the competition for not being better.

Floyd will have fought twice since defeating Marcos Maidana. Be mad at fighters like Maidana for not taking their craft as serious as Floyd. While Floyd was preparing to WIN the biggest fight in boxing history, Maidana was probably somewhere spending his Mayweather sweepstakes money, ****in chicks and getting fat. He probably won't return to the sport until he's near broke.

Luck doesn't cut it. Hard work, talent and dedication to one's craft does.

The difference is Floyd does not fight boxers that are coming off LOSSES like your boy Manny.

Go ahead and do the research...lol

I like how people try to downplay the different qualities that African Americans bring to the table.

It's not racist to say African Americans are the most athletic race, overall.

Find me any non-African American athlete with the athleticism of Roy Jones, Deion Sanders, Floyd Mayweather or LeBron James.

I could easily write an essay in here regarding "selective breeding" during slavery times, but I wouldn't expect but a hand full of people to comprehend it. The rest will just make a mockery of it and somehow attempt to assassinate my character.

The truth is the truth no matter what the racist portion of Whites and Latinos think.

Why are there no dominant, elite or even average WHITE running backs in the NFL? Where are the elite WHITE cornerbacks in the NFL? You'd have to go back damn near a decade just find one, Jason Sehorn.

So lets stop acting like African Americans don't represent the HIGHEST NUMBER of ELITE ATHLETES.

If you're a racist, don't be mad. Be proud of what your race brings and leave it there.

Mexicans claim to have the most heart and best chins. Euros like to claim they're the most intellectual.

So stop HATING when it's time to give African Americans props!

Sharmba, Judah, Corley, and Augustus....especially Agustus which was one of May's toughest fights are all slick black fighters. This is just another ploy from the Porter family to get Mayweather, Porter and Khan are coming off as desperate...pathetic.
Augustus was far fron being "slick" and he was far from being one of Floyds toughest in terms if "competitiveness. That was a one sided fight, Floyd just couldnt get him out of there even tho he was landed at will with KDs too..guy kept coming tho, in that sense it was Floyds toughest.

Sharmba Mitchell wasnt prime either, was bk from having knee surgery

                  BULLSCHIT!

Floyd has always maintained that Emmanual Burton/Augustus was his toughest fight. And he maintained that up until the Miguel Cotto fight. Since then I've heard him say Cotto might have been his toughest fight.

I was there at the COBO Center when Floyd fought Augustus.

And let me tell you, Burton gave him HELL. Floyd hit him so much that he fractured his hand and almost quit in the corner. Floyd gutted that performance out.

Yes, Floyd was in control of the fight and clearly winning; however, it was a tough ass fight. Burton bloodied both of Floyd's nostrils and landed more flush punches on him than anyone still has to this date.

And while Burton couldn't maintain his defense, Burton was very slick when he wanted to be.

Burton was similar to Glen Johnson where half of his losses could have/should have been wins. The guy was robbed a ton of times and even in fights he won, he wound up losing because of failed drug tests (the weeed).

Did you ever watch Lionel Messi play football or Christian Cullen play rugby?

As to boxing, you only have to look at the skills, movement and finesse of Vasyl Lomachenko.

I don't think race needs to be brought into it, all races can have phenomenal "athletes". Shawn Porter is not the stereotypical African-American fighter anyway, he's a mauler, and inside fighter. A good fight for Mayweather but nothing at all to do with his race.
