    He was being sarcastic.

The fact that it isn't obvious says a lot about the kind of moronic shite we are accustomed to reading in GGG related threads.

He's having to slowly grind his way up the food chain (#5 Lemeiux is next) because none of the elite-level guys have the balls to fight him.
Come on now. A bunch of stumblebums. What gives him the right to say I won't fight this guy unless its PPV or "the economics don't work" to face that guy.

Don't remember Lacy making such statements about Calzaghe, he dared to be great early and got bashed up but at least he tried.

People seem to forget Lacy looked like crap in a couple fights before Calzaghe. The Robin Reid fight comes to mind.

Golovkin has dared to be great a long time ago, unfortunately Felix Sturm led him on a wild goose chase for three years, Sergio Martinez wouldn't fight him, Dmitry Pirog pulled out of their fight with an injury and your boy Carl Froch has been turning him down for three years. Not much cajones these days.

He could have fought Andre Ward without his promoters making every excuse in the book for it not to happen a couple of years ago. That's daring to be great. Not Felix Sturm

No. He is one hundred thousand times better than Lacy and he is a wonderful boxer with a great amateur record to go with his power. Lacy didn't scare anybody but GGG does. The reason he has not yet fought a real good champion is because they refuse to fight him. He tried like hell to fight Martinez but Martinez said no way with the usual bs about GGG not earning the fight. Never mind that GGG was number 1 on all ratings then as he is today. Cotto is clearly afraid of him and Froch won't fight him even with an 8 pound advantage. Kid Chocolate ducked him. Lemiux {sorry if I misspelled his name] is stalling when he could fight him next. Jacobs won't even say his name. Lacy never KOed 20 guys in a row with many of them being top 10 contenders. GGG can't beat champions who refuse to fight him. Get these champions in the ring with him and he will knock them out. What 160 pounder can beat GGG?
