People hate on Danny Garcia because he's a threat to their favorite fighters, same reason why people hate on Santa Cruz.

I stopped watching Garcia after his joke of a fight with Matthysse. To much clinching and holding/hugging from Danny, it was similar to the Kell Brook vs Shawn Porter fight or that awful Broner vs Porter fight. Broner looked like a freaking MMA fighter with all that kissin & dry humping, it was disgusting. And yet, some people have the gall to call those illegal tactics "boxing" or "veteran tactics."

If Danny wants the support again, he has to stop using those pathetic, illegal tactics whenever his opponents get close to him on the inside.

Because after every notable fight you've ever had you return to the same level of competition you did pre-khan. No mention of rematching guys who clearly beat you. No initiative to call out any of the other top 140/147 fighters. At least Thurman is trying, at least Spence/Crawford are trying to get fights. This guys boxrec is atrocious. Oh and it wouldn't hurt if you sat your pops down with the other fans and stop letting him steal your limelight. Garcia even with all his short comings would be further along if Angel wasn't turning people off left and right. Can't have pops cursing at fans bruh just cause they want to say hello or ask for a pic either.

Danny needs to understand a very simple reality.



Boxing IS a national sport. Unlike a peasant brawler, Danny does not have the backing of 115 million peasants. There are only 7 million Puerto Ricans on this planet. Has less to do with quality and charisma and everything to do with math. 115 > 7.


When it comes to the Jordans, Sugar Rays and the Mayweathers...They beneifit not just from their own people, but as we all know, from the cucold/guilt-riddled white fanatics. I like Danny because he TKO'ed Khan. We're good forever. As far as the dislike goes, it's more of how he is booked, haha i'm a wrestling fan, rather than Danny the person. For some reason in boxing, you get a lot of hate when you officially win fights the fans thought you should have lost. Unfair or not, that's how it goes with folks.
