He just needs to start fighting like the guy who got lucas eye swollen. The way he was talking after the Salka fight really was a mistake. If you listened to him you would've thought Salka was on a Manny Pac type of run before he stopped him.

He gets more hate for getting his ass whooped by peterson and herrera and getting the gift decisions. Its not his fault they are trying to build the next great puerto rican champ but it is what it is.

1. He beat Matthysse. Matthysse had enough hype to turn people against Garcia after that.

2. He's had 2 fights since that not a small amount of people think he lost. Nothing turns fans against boxers like gifts/robberies.

There are a lot of irrational, immature people who react differently when fighters they like lose. NSB doesn't represent the entire boxing fanbase, obviously, but with more niche fighters like Matthysse, it's a decent representation. People really hate Garcia because of that fight.

And Khan. Damn, I forgot Khan. That is definitely the driving force behind a LOT of the Garcia hate.

I like Danny, he just has growing pains. He was starving to make 140 in the Herrera fight and Peterson is no push over. I wish I had a poster of the Khan KO. Paulie might be another ugly win, as he will not walk into that left hook. I talk bad about the Salka fight and laugh at Angel's crap, but Danny is a decent guy. KO Paulie and get some love.

Well it is simple Danny! Rematch Herrara and beat him convincingly, rematch Lamont Peterson and beat him convincingly and rematch Matthysse and beat him again

If he does that then people will have to shut the *** UP. But when you take Questionable Decisions and Run away and your Dad say **** like he don't believe in rematches and you're fighting guys like Rod Salka...Yes the dislike is going to be strong and rightfully so.

I became his fan, when I started on this site and saw all the hype Matthysse fans had, how he was going to win by decapitation, and I had saw danny once or twice before, and thought this Matthysse guy must be amazing...But I remeber seeing and thinking danny wasnt that bad. And reading all of you guys comments I began to hope he would win. Rod salka fight, thats what really would've happened to rocky if he got a shot at the heavyweight champion while weighing 180...
