Ward/GGG should be on regular hbo
Kovalev/Hopkins was on regular hbo
not every fight is ppv worthy

Ward won gold in the US Olympics. That trumps anything GGG has accomplished in his amateur career.
I don't care where Ward vs GGG happens, PPV, Regular HBO, BET, etc...
I just want the fight promoted properly and made. Period.
2000 won the Junior World Championships in Budapest, Hungary as a Light Welterweight.
2002 won the Asian Games in Busan, South Korea as a Light Middleweight.
2003 won the World Championships in ****kok, Thailand as a Middleweight.
Defeated Korobov, Andy Lee by decision and Lucian Bute by KO in this tournament, a fighter Ward ducked as a pro.
2004 Middleweight Olympic Silver Medalist as a member of the Kazakhstani Olympic Team. Andre Dirrell was one of the fighters GGG defeated at the Games. A fighter Ward refuses to fight.
That eclipses Ward who's only accomplishments were winning American amateur titles, no International titles, and the Olympic Gold as a LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT. A weight class he still avoids moving in to as a professional, 11 years after the Olympics.
Funny how people dump on GGG for not moving out of MW where he has been since 2003, while no one says anything about Ward fighting in a lower division than he did at the Olympic Games and having no intention of moving up.

And if Ward has to take 2.2 mill then the fight should be in Oakland.
GGG has beaten nobody of worth. He's not proven. He cannot dictate every level of the negotiations. Otherwise Andre is correct not to fight GGG.
Andre has options north of his division.
GGG on the other hand is at the will and mercy of Cotto and Canelo.
sorry boxing doesn't work that way. you earn money by bringing fans, not resumes. the more popular guy gets more money since he brings in more money. resume and capitalism don't go hand in hand. and if ward can't fight an unproven guy unless its in oakland he's pretty pathetic. andre has options that he won't take aka he has no options but to be overpaid for easy fights.

BET, a network you've probably never heard of, is "black entertainment television."
it's a niche network. i didn't even ahve BET on my regular cable package until recently.
my only concern is that these shows aren't sustainable for rocnation. i don't care how much money they've got. they can't sustain gigantic losses liek that.
thy're taking a long term outlook on ward. they want him happy now, so that he wont' jump ship when golvokin and kovalev are potential PPV fights.
tjhe PPV landscape is going to shift dramatically when floyd retires. i can't say that ward will fill the void. i'd be shocked if he's a 10th of the star. still, a tenth of nine figures, which is what floyd allegedly earned to fight pacquiao, is a life changing amount of money, and worth the investment for rocnation.
