Dirk just imagined it was, because Floyd and Pac fought on HBO/Showtime, and since you know that Lara is such a huge mega star everyone is lining up to fight him for the huge payday and TV draws that it would bring. It'd be a worldwide event. Shatters May/Pac tenfold. Lara is literally the bridge that will finally bring HBO and Al together for the peace and prosperity of boxing.

According to Tom Loeffler, there's no reason why Lara can't get in the ring with GGG. He's said it after the last two fights.

Because he's conning the fans then. Why does Loeffler get away with "playing politician" (aka lying) when other promoters would be crucified for it?

It's not that he's just not outright saying it, he's actually saying the reverse and making out like the fight is a real possibility.

He said they are open to a Lara fight and he hasn't heard anything from their side (presumably Haymon) so how is that conning us? I'm sure they are open to the fight. Haymon & HBO aren't. Same goes for Quillin and Jacobs. If something changes, those fights can happen. It isn't a coincidence these three guys, who just happen to be with Haymon, aren't lining up to fight Golovkin. LOL so this is what it boils down to after we discuss this so much that it can't be discussed anymore. You're not calling GGG a ducker, you surrender to the argument about HBO/Haymon preventing this fight, but what you're upset about is Tom Loeffler not bluntly telling the media they can't fight Lara because of Al Haymon? lol talk about a waste of time. you've spent HOURS upon HOURS over the course of months and months talking about Lara vs GGG and it essentially boils down to Loeffler telling the media he's open to a Lara fight but you're mad because you believe he should bluntly tell the media they can't fight him because of the Haymon/HBO problem.
