But all Willie Jr had to do was win the BumSceno Tournament to get a shot
Using that logic, GGG should fight some name guys at 168 before he's worthy to share the ring with Cash King Cobra. How about we start soft with Borehard "The Fail-ien" Slopkins?Comment

Damn, he's already fought Canelo, Paul Williams, Angulo, Carlos Molina, Vanes etc but he still has to fight Quillin or Jacobs to get a shot at GGG

You're living in fantasy land thinking he will
And only person out of that list that Lara clearly beat is Williams even though he got robbedComment

You know why team Lara didnt bother contacting Ggg? Cause they like making 1m for no risk bums, and theyd be very lucky to get more for Ggg on Hbo. The Haymon effect, and why hes out at HboComment

Even the fans are con men.
Where did Lara say he would NOT fight at 160? Nowhere.
The man doesn't speak a word of English and he tried to answer a question without it being translated. Much like GGG's infamous "Ward is too much for me" quote.
Obviously he's not going to campaign at 160, his weight is 154....but he's shown willingness in the past and NOW, that he will go to 160 for Golovkin.
Get on the phone, Tom.
Where? He clearly says "No. 154, 154" after being asked if he would fight at 160. He obviously knew what the question was being that he responded "no, 154". No one said anything about 154 only Lara did.
Now he said he'd fight at 160 but this was from early March before Monroe was even selected.Comment

Desperation. I expected better from you.
I suppose you hold GGG to his "Andre Ward is too much for me" quote, right?Comment

That's why this is mismatch. Angulo was tossing Lara around like a rag doll and he's quite possibly the slowest fighter I've ever seen. Obviously GGG is bigger and better than him, it's not a fair fight. If Lara had some power than maybe that would be enough to keep GGG off him and earn some respect but he doesn't. Lara just throws the 1-2, circles and stays on his backtoot and repeats. That works against guys like Delvin Rodriguez and to an extent Canelo because he's not as active, GGG on the other hand is relentless, has serious power and knows how to cut off the ring. It's weird some people are so blinded by whatever agenda they have they can't even see a mismatch in front if them. Basically at this point I want to see the fight happen just to shut up the nine people on NSB that think otherwise, even though it would suck for Lara's careerComment
