Stop acting like there's some moral or ethical issue here
Stop acting like you even give two ****s about Lara. You literally never talked about Lara until the GGG vs Froch discussions started to come about and since then you've mentioned Lara 5,000 times exclusively in GGG threads. It's weird that you go harder than anyone else on this forum for a GGG vs Lara fight without even being a Lara fan. De Cubas jr. doesn't even talk about Golovkin as much as you. All because you don't want to see Froch fight Golovkin

I like Lara as a fighter. Have done ever since he schooled Paul Williams' overrated ass - ironically another boogeyman who turned into a diva. Although at least he fought some tough fights first unlike Golovkin.

I do want to see Froch fight Golovkin. I want to see Ward fight Golovkin., Cotto, Canelo , Lee, Quillin, Lemiuex, etc etc

But if these fights aren't available to them, WHICH THEY CURRENTLY ARE NOT, don't give me some ***ing bum ass cab driver next. Take on the best available guy and that is without a doubt Lara. Bend your ass over backwards to make that fight happen like you claim to do with everyone else. Don't ***ing lie to the fans that you're going to try and then not do a damn thing.

      It's pretty simple.

The problem with this explanation of yours is you know perfectly well Lara isn't fighting on HBO, nor is any other Haymon fighter. They can't even make Kovalev vs Stevenson which was/is a much better fight than GGG vs Lara. The other issue is you seriously never talked about Lara on NSB, the only time you talked about him was when the Williams robbery went down, that's it, until of course you've gone a relentless campaign to talk **** about Golovkin "ducking" Lara mentioning it 5,000 times in every Golovkin thread and even threads that have nothing to do with either.

Golovkin has tried to make fights with opponents far tougher than Lara, there is literally no reason to be worried about him. He's small, a bit fragile and has no power. If Lara wasn't with Haymon this fight probably happened by now (assuming Lara would fight at 160) but he's a PBC guy. HBO and Haymon aren't going to bed backwards for a Lara fight, it's just not reality. They barely worked together for Mayweather vs Pacquiao and there was half a billion dollars in the plate.

I'd love to see that fight too, Lara's speed, foot movement, stamina and ring generalship can give the untested GGG a tough fight, and that's what a lot of people want to see, GGG getting tested and facing adversity, also Lara's name is bigger than GGG's last 5 opponents combined, I'd definitely buy the PPV.

PPV? Not a big enough fight for that, It would be a regular HBO event.

I don't think it's a good fight, mismatch really, but I'd like to see if they can't land anything better. Too bad for the HBO/Haymon feud.

Already mentioned a million times because he won't get paid the millions he craves and Lara's "ugly style" might make him look bad.

Loeffler should be bending over backwards because his fighter is 33 years old with a dog**** career. Instead you excuse his public statements as "playing politician"

In other words conning the fans.

              • Lol... GGG naysayers have nothing to turn to. Froch won't fight him, Lemieux won't, Cotto/Canelo is no guarantee. Ward fighting Paul Smith. 154, 160 and 168 are all joke divisions.

Loeffler isn't going to fix the HBO/Haymon problem, they aren't coming together for a Lara fight. No idea why you ignore this huge problem so much and instead focus entirely on Golovkin's promoters interviews. So what if Loeffler doesn't outright say he can't fight Lara because of Haymon? He says the exact same stuff when it comes to Quillin and Jacobs (we would like to make the fight, we haven't heard anything from Quillin/Jacobs, etc). We all know there is no business between Haymon and HBO but you choose to ignore it when it comes to Lara. Loeffler knows perfectly well why he can't match GGG vs Quillin, Jacobs and Lara.

Cold war is over, didn't you get the memo?

Oh wait no, sorry. Dirk just imagined it was, because Floyd and Pac fought on HBO/Showtime, and since you know that Lara is such a huge mega star everyone is lining up to fight him for the huge payday and TV draws that it would bring. It'd be a worldwide event. Shatters May/Pac tenfold. Lara is literally the bridge that will finally bring HBO and Al together for the peace and prosperity of boxing.

All bow to Erislandy Lara, the ender of cold wars!

Anyway, I'm all out sarcasm for today.

Because he's conning the fans then. Why does Loeffler get away with "playing politician" (aka lying) when other promoters would be crucified for it?

It's not that he's just not outright saying it, he's actually saying the reverse and making out like the fight is a real possibility.
