And Maidana didn't fight like Castillo. The only common thread among those gave Mayweather trouble were that they were much bigger and/or pressure fighters. Their skill and method of pressure were all different. The versions of Mayweather they fought were different as well, but he had the same type of trouble with each of them.

Margarito has the size and stamina that might make things especially tough for Mayweather at the time, especially having recently moved up to welterweight when the fight could have happened.

Margarito was a huge natural ww who probably rehydrated to close mw by fight time...So was Williams...Williams and Margarito sized up perfect, but Floyd would have given up height, reach, and size to both of those guys...maybe not so much reach due to Floyd having good reach...
