mayweather in 2005-2007 was a lot more athletic than 2015

size and reach isnt everything...you actually have to hit something to win rounds.

Carlos Quintana, Daniel Santos, Cotto, Lara, etc none of the guys who beat them had mayweathers ring IQ, defense, speed, or counterpunching ability.

I don't care. None of those guys had Margarito or even Williams tangibles, and I just wanted to see how Mayweather would fare against a natural ww who wouldn't wilt because they got hit. Mayweather had already proved his skillset to me. I was looking to see where his ballset was to be honest.

I wanted to see the fight is that cool with you? Margarito was a beltholder who was in Floyd's division, whose tangibles made up for what he lacked in skillset, and I could name a boatload of fighters that Floyd fought, that were not that special, or by the time Floyd fought them, what made them special was a foregone conclusion.

Margarito lost to every Elite fighter he stepped in the ring with....Cotto, Paul Williams, Mosley and Pacquaio...even lost to Daniel Santos smh and no name guys early in his career


How was he gonna beat some one that was better than them....Mayweather is without a doubt the best of his generation and back then, their was no one even messing with pretty boy Floyd from 2004-2007

Marg is way bigger, stronger than floyd. Also the style is how you give floyd a tough fight.
