i dont understand how people see why this doesnt happen , there i NO ECONOMICS BEHIND THIS FIGHT , canelo, cotto, chanez ,froch , all wayyyy bigger fights with way less of a risk

GGG is not gonna beat ward at 168 , and the fight would do less #s then rubio

Way too much risk for way too little reward and thats not GGG fault

90% business...10% skill....that's what our sport has become!!...the 10% part is where you EARN your RESPECT!!...Nelo and Cotto are EASIER fights than Ward....EVERYBODY knows that including Loeffer, Sanchez and GGG himself

So what? It's 2 hours away from London where Ward initially agreed to take the fight. It'd be the same ring, ref, judges, tv...

Ward doesn't have a problem making Kessler, Green, Bika, Dawson, Smith all fight him in his hometown.

And I don't want to hear crap that Andre's #1 and shouldn't have to fight in another guy's hometown. Kessler was #1 with the title and Andre was his mando when Kessler agreed to face him in Oakland.

Ward should earn our respect by taking the smaller share vs Golovkin then.

you're focusing on the 90% part as if you're getting a slice of the bread....I'm focused on the 10% part because I'm the PAYING customer...I wanna see QUALITY fights for my hard EARNED bread...you should do the same bro

We all wish the fighters we wanted to fight could just duke it out instantly, that they were in peak condition at all times, money grubbing, catch-weights and glove demands didn't exist, but at the same time you have to understand reality. And the reality is this fight makes no sense at the moment for the guys behind the scenes and fighters included, hell, if Ward was a middleweight I doubt they would have fought yet, Ward still would need a tune-up, especially considering he'd have no size advantage. Sometimes you have to accept these things and stop thinking like a child.

EDIT: Although I suppose it probably would have happened before Ward's hiatus.

"I can answer that. Froch put 80k in seats blah blah blah"

"The ward fight doesn't make financial sense" basically.

                How am I not surprised.

"Im hearing alot of High risk/low reward"

                "Well.. aaahahhha I mean... aahhahhhaha"

                Fuck outta here

Thing is though, it was never Loeffler who spoke of Ward, it was Sanchez. Maybe Ward should say it to Gennady and see how that goes.

All Ward said was for them not to mention his name unless they wanna figh him.

                  Go cry a river.

Same time, Ward's not willing to take less money in order to make a fight with Golovkin. In otherwords, Golovkin is too much risk and too little reward for Ward.
So you are "ok" with the supposed "killer" who "cant get any fights" using high risk/low reward scenarios?

Golovkin made $1.5mill from HBO vs Monroe and another $0.5-$1mill off foreign tv & gate. Ward's min is over $2mill (which is why HBO refuses to show his tuneups).
But I thought GGG is the "draw", "puts asses in seats" & "sells out arenas"?
