$2mill guarantee with ppv upside and foreign tv split. At that point in Golovkin's career his biggest HBO payout was Curtis Stevens at $400k and Macklin at $350k. Loeffler said he was still making close to a mill due to foreign tv though.

Ward wants a couple fights so they could build up the fight and get as much $ as possible. If forced hed take the fight in a heartbeat

GGG's side flat out just doesnt want it, especially not until they get a crack at least one of Cotto or Canelo.

Fact is GGG just isnt confident enough theyd win and risk losing a chance to fight Cotto/Canelo. Which is fine but dont go around saying how everyone is scared to fight you, calling them out on citing monetary reasons to avoid fighting him, and just be an all around hypocrite

Ward just got back, GGG looks good but hasnt gone elite yet, both will demand big money and probably PPV so it just isnt there yet. This can be a superfight.

I want to see it but i can also wait maybe 2-3 good fights each.

No doubt in my mind GGG would fight Ward tomorrow too - but I think it makes more sense for Ward than it does for GGG. A fight against Cotto or Canelo is way way bigger than Ward.
And for Canelo and Cotto a fight between eachother is better, and then a rematch vs Mayweather or rematch vs each other. Or if Pacquiao wants to go above 150 he can get a piece of the pie as well. GGG and his fans are photoshopping Golovkin in a picture he just doesn't belong in. He is not part of the big name squad.

If he was offered a very good deal, I'd expect he'd take it, same as Ward. However the only guys capable of making such an offer, Roc Nation, would rather have it marinate.

What do you mean 'if forced'? This is the same guy who refused to travel for the S6, refused to fight Bute in Oakland after the S6, and refused to fight Froch in Nottingham (2 hrs away from London).

Funny, back when HBO first approached Ward/Golovkin, Golovkin said yes and Ward said no. Confident enough to move up to 168, goto the UK and fight Froch, but not confident enough to fight a guy who lacks a punch? What's more risky careerwise; losing by a one sided, boring decision or getting KO'd?

And for the record, where did anyone from Golovkin's team say Ward was scared to fight him? Ward made that up to victimize himself like a b*tch. Only all around hypocrite here is Andre Ward and there's a long line of his quotes to support that fact.

That's fine, however they should ditch the belt if that's the plan. You just said Floyd is too small to defend his 154 belt he's had for 3+ years, no way should he go for the MW belt then.

Okay maybe he wouldnt take it an a heartbeat and who knows the truth about the supposed meeting with HBO. What we do know is GGG's team staying clear of any discussion of fighting Ward.

Sounds to me their open to an offer if there's money to support it.
