That paradigm has always been a reality of the sport for every fighter, don't play dumb. Tito didn't move up to face Bernard just for glory, he was getting mad cash for it. Are naive to believe he'd have taken that fight for free despite him being a hungry killer?
Golovkin is a big draw, but not a blockbuster draw like Tito was when he moved up for Bernard & Joppy. Bernard didn't draw for **** going into their fight, it was all Tito, but Tito was a major star by then and drew enough that even Bernard could get paid big money. Right now Golovkin still can't draw enough to even get Ward his inflated minimum (and Ward can't draw enough to even get what Willie Monroe was just paid to fight Golovkin).Comment

So GGG is a "big draw" but when it comes to Ward "GGG still can't draw enough".That paradigm has always been a reality of the sport for every fighter, don't play dumb. They might not be stars by themselves but together it would be a big enough event. If they stuck it on PPV it would sell atleast 300k.Comment

Are you businessman or a boxing fan?Comment

I want to see the fight, but there's little point in being blind to reality either.
I don't think either of them have that kind of loyalty from mainstream fans yet.Comment

Roc Nation makes one move, a move that they explicitly have spoken of as a move that they made to get noticed, and you've taken that into some belief that Jay-Z is willing to put up $10m to stage Ward-Golovkin at the 40/40 Club in front of 100 of his associates. GTFOH.Comment
