If the ****** ref would've did his job and stopped Wlad from constantly leaning on Povetkin, we might have a different outcome. Disgusting fight to be honest. I was rooting for Wlad too but the fight was ruined. That was worst then what Ruenroeng did vs Arroyo. Refs need to start getting fined and suspended for not doing their jobs.

He would knock Wilder out very, very easily. Wilder gets beat up by Wlad, Povetkin and Fury.

I just don't see it. 50 rounds of hard sparring between Wlad and Wilder in Austria didn't produce a Wlad KO, why would a fight? People have a knee-jerk tendency to dismiss Wilder but the guy has already trained in Wlad's camp and gone rounds with him. That's waaaay more than most can say. When Fury gets into that ring it will be the first time he's ever been in a ring with him. Wilder has more experience boxing Wlad than Jennings, Povetkin, and Fury put together.

I saw a more competitive than normal Wlad fight, but a very wide win. Nothing like the mythology that fight seems to have spawned on this site. But its a Wlad fight, so little chance I'll give it a second viewing. So I'll take your word for it.

A guy with almost no amateur background and a total of 6 years boxing experience gave Wlad one of the toughest fights of his career lmao. This is what happens when you put athletes in the ring, they can adapt insanely fast.

Wlad has been boxing for how long, 25 years? Almost losing against a guy that barely stepped in a ring a few years ago lol. Imagine if guys like Jennings and Wilder had a solid amateur foundation, they'd be unbeatable in today's HW division.

How insanely fast has Wilder adapted? He's still taking baby steps even now, and can't help making the same fundamental mistakes again and again. He's one of the slowest developing fighters I've ever seen, and a polar opposite to Jennings.

Putting an athlete in the ring doesn't guarantee anything unless there's a legitimate fighter buried inside.

Most everything negative being said about Wlad in this thread has some basis in truth. Saying Wlad 'picked off' Povetkin and 'embarrassed him' (except in a more general sense in being involved in an absolute stinkfest) does not.
