aside from clinching wlad is p4p a top 5 pure boxer. hes very smart in the ring, and definitaly a better ring IQ than fury.
Aside from clinching, Wlad is a guy that would get poleaxed and implode just about every fight. A Wlad without clinching is a guy whose career is over before age 30. Outside of clinching Wlad is a basic fighter who even mediocre journeymen can emphatically beat. Wlad P4P top 5 lol. Who is P4P #1? John Ruiz?? Wlad is on ring's P4P rankings because that publication has been a laughing stock for over a decade. Anyone who has boxed and/or understands the sport of boxing can on quick examination see that Fury is far more skillful than Grabimir Clinchko.

he beat some good fighters and racked up quite a few wbo title defenses before he adopted the inside clinch style. hes just much tougher to hit clean now but was always an offensive force in his early career
I like Fury, he has a lot character and he's absolutely hilarious.
But he won't last with Wlad IMO, I am pretty sure Wilder could beat Fury too.
yea,,,im leaning toward wlad by kayo but my gut is telling me fury may be a handful. youth and determination can make up for alot of flaws and the guy does have some skill and alot of awckwardness

What good fighters did he beat back then? A washed up mid 40s Ray Mercer who had been long ruined by Hep C and Alcoholism? Derek Jefferson? 35yr old Frans Botha? He UD'd Byrd but Byrd had already been brutally knocked out in a few rounds by contender Ibeabuchi. He had already been poleaxed by a horrendous 24-13 journeyman that every single contender could easily beat. A limited one trick pony, out of shape retiree journeyman easily outboxed and destroyed him in a mere 200 seconds. He was too scared to take the rematch because he knew the retiree would brutalize him again.
He then got demolished by another journeyman who had been beaten up by Clifford Ettine who himself was KO'd in 30 seconds by 39 yr old Tyson.
This is about the time Wlad ran to Germany with Steward and found his "formula" for success.
The formula being: Be lucky to Compete in the worst ever era in HW history, jump on a man's back as many times as possible to avoid actually having to fight and have a paid off house ref who won't disqualify you.

The word "hater" is overused here. But in some instances it applies. This is a textbook example. Tell me, genius, did he KO all these fighters with clinches?
they were weak arm punches and slaps to the body that wlad didnt so much as flinch to. blood coming from the mouth could have been from a variety of causes. anyway,,,,he is finally slipping and I really dont think hes going to get thru both fury and wilder if he fights them both next. he should just retire now on top instead of losing to someone hed have drilled just a few yrs ago. go out like lennox did when its clear the reflexes have dulled
Thinking about T Street's comments and watching the post-fight press conference of Klitschko-Jennings, I am actually believing that there's a higher chance that what he was saying is true. Klitschko coming very late, not seeming that confident, the body language is already there.
I personally thought that Klitschko was taking some punishment to the body at times.
I even thought that Jennings was mentally superior to him in this fight. Klitschko was a little bit confused, he didn't panis, but he seemed not knowing what to do at times.
