When he came out of Rehab, Hoya demanded that Golden Boy patch things up with Arum. Schaeffer wisely refused.

What the ****? Because Lucas is another one of my favorite fighters I said he was a monster? I never said that either... He is yet another boxer/puncher which are the kinds of fighters I'm fans of it's as simple as that.

Canelo's resume doesn't **** all over GGG's what drugs are you on? Lara was never a champion, neither was Murray. Trout was a champion, Geale was a champion. The difference is that GGG beat the ****ing **** out of B level fighters and Canelo barely got the nod.

Again, Loeffler has to pitch him to HBO and make an offer. Why can't he do that? He pitched 3 names to HBO last time - Willie Jr, Heiland and Tuerano Johnson

Loeffler keeps saying the fight is possible. Why doesn't he say "We can't fight Lara because he's not allowed on HBO"......if that's the case which you are trying to make?

It's looking more and more likely we'll see Golovkin/Lara next if Froch declines GGG. Loeffler stated they wanted to fight in San Antonio this year and they're also determined to have Roman Gonzalez as his regular co-feature. Lara's from Houston and recently fought Ishe Smith in San Antonio. Gonzalez looks to be fighting Segura (if he wins a tune up this month), and that would be a draw by itself in San Antonio.

It'd likely be another short night of action by the Golovkin/Gonzalez duo.

I don't think they want anything to do with Lara, especially with options around.

The one thing that GGG and his team have proven is that they can put him in with less than stellar opposition and still achieve solid ratings. He's not going to gain much from beating Lara other than "respect of the hardcore fans", however much that is worth... In the end Lara would still be viewed as a 154lber who was forced to move up.

Expect the winner of Lemieux-NDam, Andy Lee or a lower tiered opponent like Tureano Johnson around Sept. or Oct. The first two would be unification's so there won't be much backlash.
