While I get this view point, that Rocky statue is an attraction that people all over the world go to get pictures of and with.
The movie appeal is much larger than boxing, it brings that city a certain amount of visitors that a Bernard Hopkins statue would not.

he thinks athletes living a normal life should merely get the same amount of credit for their accomplishments within their sport, as athletes who behave poorly.
