if he has the right opponent. notice how he didn't fight geale, trout, or rodriguez on ppv. every fighter not named pac or floyd needs the right opponent to be on ppv. also cotto's ppv numbers when he headlines have been pretty underwhelming(except when he fought margarito) and we know the mexican fanbase contributed to that yet some people pretend that it was just cotto doing all the work by himself. if ggg fought canelo or cotto it would do big numbers because both guys are big stars. people need to stop acting like cotto/canelo are the only ones bringing something to the table. women lie, men lie, but numbers don't lie!

just because he headlined ppvs doesn't mean they were successful. according to all accounts the majority have not been successful but simply being on ppv makes you hard? marquez has been on ppv and done 250k but i guess cotto's 350k is in another stratosphere of popularity.
