have you taken a look at cotto's ppv numbers when he was the a-side? underwhelming is the word that comes to mind. ah well i guess its just easier to say he's a huge draw since that is what the status quo has labeled him. we wouldn't want to go against group think now would we?

GGG should have stepped up and fought Ward while he was inactive for 3 years?

Then I'm going to start pretending Ward got into a promotional dispute on purpose because he's afraid of Kovalev.

I SAID IT SO IT'S FACTS!

Calling ggg a flash in the pan when his career isn't over isn't a fact. Saying cotto would beat him isn't a fact, same on the flip side, saying ggg beats cotto isnt a fact. Understand?

this isn't a bash cotto thread. if i was bashing cotto i would create a funny sig that makes him look silly. i would never do that...this is a thread about perceptions and how they don't always match the numbers. cotto-martinez did 350k buys. now if floyd-guererro was a flop at 880k what is 350k? but perceptions have cotto as this guy who will sell no matter who the opponent is. cotto needs names for big fights and big ones. ggg needs name opponents as well yet they are on completely different levels of popularity? based on the numbers i don't agree.

I anxiously await you quit bsing around & post their PPV numbers. This is like one of thoe delusional threads where people **** on Mayweather's resume & hype Pacquiao's resume when they fought mostly the same mfers later in their career. Cotto is clearly a bigger star. Its not even a debate.

GGG has potential, he's just not there yet. If he keeps up the smiling & KOing I think he can get into that lil window that Pacquiao fit into as a foreign guy who became a US PPV star.

Why is it the only fighters you troll are **********? Is it because you are a successful troll or an unsuccessful bigot?

ok lets see he did 350k vs martinez and it was considered a huge flop, 250 vs judah, 200 vs mayorga, jennings about 5, margarito were the only decent ppv buys but that was because of margarito's mexican fanbase(same fanbase that ggg has) anyway if you think 200-300 are great numbers then you wouldn't be in agreement with the very promoters who staged those fights.
