GGG's career in a nutshell -- still chasing WW and Jr. MW

Daniel Geale -- a tune up for Cotto

Daniel Geale -- GGG's greatest pro accomplishment

Cotto at 34 -- fourth weight class

Golovkin at 33 -- still in his first class

Cotto keeps -- moving up in class and beating guys bigger than him

Golovkin keeps -- running away from Ward and guys who would represent challenges

Cotto's MW accomplishments -- in two fights greater, than GGGs MW resume

Golovkin's MW accomplishments -- hinges on beating a washed up former Jr. WW

Cotto will always be -- greater than GGG

Golovkin will always be -- a flash in the pan

      Cotto/GGG will look like -- Garcia/Matthyse
What you posted is true...but we have to see them fight before we actually know the outcome

Cotto is a huge star, and a legit PPv star....

He is one of the few guys that can carry a PPv without it involving floyd or manny....

Golovkin is a star on the rise, and will probably be the biggest star post floyd/manny but that doesn't mean cotto is some chump that can't draw

GGG is such a huge star that he has all these guys lining up to cash in on the pay day. Oh wait.

if he has the right opponent. notice how he didn't fight geale, trout, or rodriguez on ppv. every fighter not named pac or floyd needs the right opponent to be on ppv. also cotto's ppv numbers when he headlines have been pretty underwhelming(except when he fought margarito) and we know the mexican fanbase contributed to that yet some people pretend that it was just cotto doing all the work by himself. if ggg fought canelo or cotto it would do big numbers because both guys are big stars. people need to stop acting like cotto/canelo are the only ones bringing something to the table. women lie, men lie, but numbers don't lie!

Except there were few facts there. It's true that a lot of GGG's supporters over rate his accomplishments but his detractors are just as wrong.

Cotto's career in a nutshell -- HoF bound - FACT

GGG's career in a nutshell -- still chasing WW and Jr. MW - trash talk

Daniel Geale -- a tune up for Cotto - true

Daniel Geale -- GGG's greatest pro accomplishment - FALSE (Martin Murray)

Cotto at 34 -- fourth weight class - FACT

Golovkin at 33 -- still in his first class - FACT (but so what?)

Cotto keeps -- moving up in class and beating guys bigger than him - FACT

Golovkin keeps -- running away from Ward and guys who would represent challenges - trash talk

Cotto's MW accomplishments -- in two fights greater, than GGGs MW resume - if Martinez was at full strength you would be correct

Golovkin's MW accomplishments -- hinges on beating a washed up former Jr. WW - trash talk

Cotto will always be -- greater than GGG - perhaps but conjecture

Golovkin will always be -- a flash in the pan - 12 fights of taking out ranked TOP 20 is not a flash in the pan (not saying it's greatness like GGG fans make it out to be)

Cotto/GGG will look like -- Garcia/Matthyse - your opinion. For all you know it may be a great fight with GGG winning.

Without a doubt GGG has closed the gap. He's one of the stars in boxing now. That excuse has sailed. Whoever uses that excuse not to fight GGG is ducking him. Now it's about timing. Canelo - Cotto has been cooking for 2-years,its a blockbuster fight and everyone involved is going to make a ton of money. GGG has to sit and wait for that to happen, period. His time will come. He's just gotten "there."
