    F**k Robert Guerrero, he DKSAB

No seriously, he's right. Manny's used to having the clear speed advantage, and this time he didn't have it. And it threw his ass for a loop. I honestly believe that Manny thought going in that even though Floyd was fast, that he'd still have the speed advantage. But then when he realized that wasn't the case -- I think it f**ked with him mentally the rest of the way. He started to overthink **** as opposed to just letting his hands go, and we all know that playing a thinking game in the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr. is a recipe for disaster.

I think people wrongly look at boxing speed in a one-dimensional way. A guy throws a 4-7 punch combinations with speed is one type of speed. A guy who throws a 2-4 punch combination slower, but with more accuracy and pacing is another. A guy who throws 1-2 punches with quick release at the right time with accuracy is another.

Floyd doesn't throw flashy or overwhelming 4-7 punch speed combinations like Manny or some other young fighters. Why? He doesn't need to. He's all but mastered his art of throwing 1-2, maybe 3 punches at a time with accuracy and to conserve energy. Floyd would rather land one "quick release" punch than to throw 7 while only landing one.

Some underestimate Floyd's USE of his speed and timing.

Manny Pacquiao was supposed to be the one who had an answer for Floyd's movement and single punches at a time. He was supposed to be the one who's hand AND foot speed were going to offset Floyd. He was supposed to be the one to **** the arms, body, hips, back, shoulders, elbows, etc to slow Floyd down for the late rounds. He was supposed to be the one who could make Floyd so uncomfortable that Floyd would have to stop being himself just to fight back.

When Manny would get Floyd in the corner, Floyd would either duck and move (which Roach led Pacman to believe he didn't have the legs to do anymore) or Floyd would keep ducking low evading Manny's 6-7 punch combinations, then move or counter. Manny was used to doing that vs a stationary Margarito and drained DLH.

Manny, as great as he is, wasn't able to do any of that. That is what pissed people off. The fight wasn't exciting. I get that. Floyd did what he always does. Manny was supposed to be the x-factor to change what Floyd "always does". It wasn't about this being the fight that Floyd finally throws caution to the wind for please the fans. This was supposed to be the fight where Manny was Floyd's equal enough to force Floyd into something he'd never seen, felt or dealt with before. Turns out, Floyd has mastered what he does so well that Manny was just another.

True, people were concerned about how Floyd would deal with Manny's speed but not how Manny would deal with Floyd's speed.

I recall Marquez saying speed and technique will always be Manny's undoing right before the Mayweather vs Pac fight.

I know it's the reporters who ask the Ghost, but why in the hell is this still news worthy a month after the fight?

Mayweather won, Pac lost, they made a butt load of money, they'll most likely be a rematch next year. Let's move on

Pacquiao is one dimensional. He could'nt deal with all that in the ring.

Pac did exactly how i figured, just watch the Bradley fights and mosley even the last 2 jmm fights counter punchers cause his output too decrease drastically. Couple that with TBE speed and quickness plus ring IQ and #48 stood no chance

Gurerro trying to suck Floyds chicken ass so he can get another payday. Not gonna happen, Turd. Trying to justify that hometown decision over an injured Pac isn't gonna get you paid.
