Never understood why people didnt/dont like The Ghost. At first I thought it was because of his father but Im beginning to think its him now. His expert analysis suck & he swears like hes an A side/level boxer. It took an @$$ whoopin for this guy to wake up and realize fighting once every13+ months dont equate to top level prize fighting. Now hes fighting the Aron Hernandez's of the world, maybe thatll be a wake up call for him to take his sport more seriously but until than he should be doing more training and less talking. And crossfit is lame...

I remember when Guerrero was getting hit with different variations of the right hand, which was the straight right hand against Floyd.

Watch when he counters, he actually starts moving before the other guy starts to even throw. Its like he is reading their mind, its insane. Watch it in slow mo, any fight he has he does it. He anticipates the next shot or movement and makes a move based off of it.

Speed wise overall I think Floyd is behind Khan, Manny, Alexander and is somewhere a little faster than Ortiz.
I use to think that but not anymore

            Dont be ridiculous !

The ghost knows that he has 0 chance of being selected for September.

He is saying exactly what MOST insiders were saying BEFORE the fight.

Going into the fight I thought that the one area where Pacquiao MAYBE had an advantage was in footspeed, especially since Floyd is getting old and has looked to be slowing down a bit in his past few fights

But I was shocked at how much faster and smoother his footwork was than Manny's. It wasn't even close.

              Really caught me by surprise.

Before the fight I would have agreed with you, but it's clear as day, Floyd's feet are faster than Manny's! Mayweather's footwork has always been far superior to that of Manny's as well.

Just those 2 disadvantages alone make for a steep hill to climb.

On another note, I want to see Maidana-Guerrero. Not too many matchups I like better at the moment.

Floyd doesn't throw flashy or overwhelming 4-7 punch speed combinations like Manny or some other young fighters. Why? He doesn't need to. He's all but mastered his art of throwing 1-2, maybe 3 punches at a time with accuracy and to conserve energy. Floyd would rather land one "quick release" punch than to throw 7 while only landing one.

Some underestimate Floyd's USE of his speed and timing.

Manny Pacquiao was supposed to be the one who had an answer for Floyd's movement and single punches at a time. He was supposed to be the one who's hand AND foot speed were going to offset Floyd. He was supposed to be the one to **** the arms, body, hips, back, shoulders, elbows, etc to slow Floyd down for the late rounds. He was supposed to be the one who could make Floyd so uncomfortable that Floyd would have to stop being himself just to fight back.

When Manny would get Floyd in the corner, Floyd would either duck and move (which Roach led Pacman to believe he didn't have the legs to do anymore) or Floyd would keep ducking low evading Manny's 6-7 punch combinations, then move or counter. Manny was used to doing that vs a stationary Margarito and drained DLH.

Manny, as great as he is, wasn't able to do any of that. That is what pissed people off. The fight wasn't exciting. I get that. Floyd did what he always does. Manny was supposed to be the x-factor to change what Floyd "always does". It wasn't about this being the fight that Floyd finally throws caution to the wind for please the fans. This was supposed to be the fight where Manny was Floyd's equal enough to force Floyd into something he'd never seen, felt or dealt with before. Turns out, Floyd has mastered what he does so well that Manny was just another.

This is a very educated post. Shows that this guy knows a lot about boxing. Not just a casual fan. He knows like he is a trainer.
