Yeah but you have to look at the risk-reward ratio. $5m and a chance to beat Floyd on the biggest stage? Or fight a guy still relatively unknown to the world? Just makes sense. Khan wants the big fights and Brook isn't there yet.

Why does this clown Khan talk like he is some superstar boxer? He's not. He's no bigger a name than Brook is, both in the UK and internationally.
Also, the headline is wrong to this article. Khan said: "I'm going to be a **** about it", not; "I won't be a **** about it".

Khan is a bigger name than Brook EVERYWHERE.

Khan literally carried UK Boxing for a few years here at the beginning of his career when Brook/Froch/Haye/Enzo and so on were nobodies. He's earned a lot of money, more than all of these guys and hes fought names for many years.

Brook literally has ONE good win in his entire career LOL one noteworthy name and thats Porter. It was definitely a good win, you'd be a hater and a liar to say it wasn't imo but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Brook needs to stop talking about Khan and fight someone else, the fight isn't happening and it's not like a Mayweather-Pac situation where they were clearly the two best who HAD to fight each other. Brook can fight Thurman but I doubt Hearn puts him against him. Hearn said they'll offer a fight to Rios or Marquez lol. Marquez hasn't fought for a year right now and he's not getting any better. Rios is a mid level competitor tbh, not elite but not a journeyman either. I want to see Khan and Porter against the best. Maidana needs to lose the weight and have a tune up, Guerrero would be a great fight after he (hopefully) wins his next fight for either Khan/Brook. Bradley is a great fight too tbh.

I think Thurman is the man at 147 OUTSIDE of MayPac. I'd love to see him vs Floyd since Pac is likely out for the rest of this year.

For sure. I do have some sympathy for the position Khan is in now though.

However much he would get for Brook, Floyd is the fight he really wants, and he knows he's in with a chance of getting it.

He also knows how dangerous Brook would be for him. But he can't come out and say " I know Brook might beat me, and if he does, I won't get to fight Floyd"

Hence the transparently phoney excuses and reasons he's being coming up with for avoiding Brook.

Just flat out saying he's being a **** about it is his last resort, I guess. And at least it saves Dirk the trouble of doing that for him.
