I would be STUNNED if Floyd fought Thurman. But I agree he's the most deserving simply because he looks like someone who could carry the torch well (if even for a short period). Plus, I think he'll try and force a war.

I just can't see Floyd taking a risky fight like that in his finale though. I don't know, man.

Maybe it's the Floyd fan in me but I wouldn't care if Floyd fought Spike Lee next. (Just give us a good undercard). I feel like he's proven his point. But of course I would be ecstatic if he fought Thurman. That would be SICK. I'll take Brook as a consolation. Khan or Garcia don't interest me at all.

I can understand Kahn's thinking, the Brook fight would be a nice paycheck, but a fight with Floyd would be an even bigger paycheck. Truthfully though, I don't think he can beat either of them, especially Mayweather. He barely beat Algieri.
As for Mayweather, obviously there is no way in hell he would fight Thurman and he's too old to wait the usual five years for Thurman to get ring worn. Kahn is the best option for him in terms of safe opponents with big names. Kahn could make it interesting for a couple of rounds but Mayweather would figure him out pretty quick. Mattysee is another option, but could he carry that power up to 147?

You have to understand where Khan's coming from. Brook has about 35 fights, has fought almost at home all his life, he has fought bums and hasn't built a brand. Khan feels salty because that's like being used to give Brook a payday and undeserved exposure. On the other hand Khan took risks, he left the comforts of home and faced more dangerous fighters. HE has been in championship fights, fought dangerous people like Maidana, Prescott, Garcia, Peters on, Judah, Collazo etc.At that stage in his life Brook wouldn't have got past all of them without getting knocked out. This is personal.

Had Brook been fighting good fighters this match would have been a no brained. TbH all Brook brings is a belt. Khan and Froch have been fighting and taking risks so when they turn down domestic rivals who want to piggyback on their reputations please understand.

Those are the big money fights, but also come with risks
