If only there was some sort of organisation which forced fighters to earn a shot at the best in their division. Brook/ Thurman and Khan would probably have fought each other by now and the winner would be considered a legitimate threat to Mayweather

Khan said he wants Thurman if he can't get Mayweather. I don't know how serious he is but that's the fight I want to see. If I had my way, it would be Khan-Thurman and Mayweather-Brook for all the belts.

Thats a good fight and fair doo's if he took it, but it would the dumbest decision on his part. Even with Haymons purses he surely wouldnt earn as much fighting Thurman as he would Brook and Thurman is just as difficult a fight if not more difficult and he doesnt have a title to win (i dont think?)

Yeah I think he gets hammered. I'm not sure what Haymon's end game is here but I don't doubt the possibility of Thurman becoming a star. But one that can bring big bucks to Khan in the near future? No.
